That is not good. Hopefully E. Jenkins is ready to dominate and Pankey can keep that bench warm.

I wonder if the injury is truely IR worthy or if they’re just quick to pull the trigger like usual. Kind of coincidental that they were playing Jenkins in the last game and now this. Or maybe it’s not 🤔

What is lane taylors injury?

So....looks like the Packers offensive line is in for a little “Hankey Pankey”.LOL

Taylor would provide some pretty good depth. This is unfortunate. Perhaps he will come back after eight weeks?

I thought Pankey looked decent in the pre-season game I saw. IIRC, he can also play some tackle.

Yeah that's been my question, Packers injury report list it as "Biceps"

Play some tackle against 3rd string, not sure I want to see him against starters there.

They can bring 2 players back from IR. Raven Greene and Jace Sternberger might get first priority unless there are other injuries to the OL or Jenkins bombs.

Given his reputation as a YAC guy in college and the importance of the TE in MLFs O I would figure Sternberger would be a lock to be brought back from the IR.

I'm the opposite way, considering rookie TEs normal give you very little to nothing and even if he's actives who is he taking snaps over?

Usually TEs (like Safeties on the other side) take longer to develop because they're asked to learn so many different things between WR/OL work and some FB (for Safeties it's CB and LB work they also got to learn).

Graham, Lewis or Tonyan? Seems unlikely he's getting snaps over those guys quickly. Plus our FB was basically a WR/TE/FB in college.

It'd be nice to get him back learning in practice, but and I could see him making some big flash plays set up for a receiving TE, but overall I don't expect to see him getting a ton of snaps.

And heck they can't get open the other TEs or slot guys yet... of course the Bears and Vikings have some of the best LB coverage guys and defenses might have something to do with it too.

I'm the opposite of your opposite. My previous post was made with all the difficulties that a rookie TE faces in mind. Sternberger offers far more in receiving potential than Tonyan (a UDFA JAG) while Lewis and Grahams best days are far behind them. As far as blocking goes, could he be worst than Grahams Ole! blocks that we've seen so far?

Well now that he is on it they don't need to tell us anymore than that so we'll probably never know.

Why are people so concerned about someone else's injury when they are on Injured Reserve? Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm more so concerned with how is this Jenkins kid gonna do, how is this Pankey kid gonna do?

Go figure, I'm the one who sees this on Twitter.

"Lane Taylor will need surgery on his left biceps, which was injured last week in practice."

I agree. But some asked and I saw the Tweet. Even if I think the question is without merit, if I stumble onto the answer, I'll share it.

Cheesey (11h) : Oh well. As good as they played in the 1st half, 100% sucked in 2nd half.
KRK (12h) : *their
KRK (12h) : Time for the offensive lineTo man up and enforce there will
Zero2Cool (12h) : Well, this is starting to suck.
Zero2Cool (12h) : Taylor is tough.
Zero2Cool (12h) : I worry Badgers gonna get cute with on-side kick.
Cheesey (13h) : SHOCK THE WORLD!
Cheesey (13h) : Badgers are playing with a lot of heart!!!
Cheesey (13h) : A score here would be HUGE!
Cheesey (13h) : Letting Ohio back in the game isn’t good.
Zero2Cool (14h) : Come on Badgers, shock the world!!
Zero2Cool (15h) : He's a good dude.
KRK (18h) : Totally Serious here, I admire Buckeye and the other optimist contributors. They have proper sports perspective.
Zero2Cool (22h) : I wish I was optimistic.
KRK (23h) : Go Badgers....what an upset that would be....
Cheesey (7-Dec) : Actually, King has TWO hammies! 😂
gbguy20 (6-Dec) : lemme guess Kevin king has a hammy
Zero2Cool (6-Dec) : Packers list CBs Kevin King & Tony Brown as questionable.
KRK (6-Dec) : I am surprised Garrett is still employed. If things don't changenot, he could be gone tomorrow.
KRK (6-Dec) : bares
Zero2Cool (5-Dec) : Possibly.
gbguy20 (5-Dec) : we knew what you meant. your point was still clear
Zero2Cool (4-Dec) : Oops, Smith was CB, not RB. My mistake. Etiher way, it was about the KR/PR not the position
gbguy20 (4-Dec) : yep
Zero2Cool (4-Dec) : What do you mean? They cut a RB who was the KR/PR, so they signed someone who is KR/PR, who happens to be RB
Cheesey (4-Dec) : I don’t get it. Going after more RBs. We NEED guys that can get separation and catch passes.
Zero2Cool (4-Dec) : Tyler Ervin taking reps with the running backs at practice today. Ervin, 5-foot-10, 192lbs., age 26, once said he’s tried to model his game after Darren Sproles. Best 40 time was 4.41 at Combine.
Zero2Cool (4-Dec) : Put the Packers in a dome. They are a soft team. They need protection from the weather.
Zero2Cool (4-Dec) : Packers go on the road each game, -- I say GOOD!
Nonstopdrivel (3-Dec) : The biggest problem with being a lower seed is that, unless everything falls your way, you're going to be on the road for the entirety of the playoffs.
KRK (3-Dec) : He sucks, they can have him.
Zero2Cool (3-Dec) : Dolphins have claimed speedy WR Trevor Davis off of waivers from the Raiders,
TheKanataThrilla (3-Dec) : It might be easier to face Dallas on the road rather than the Vikes or 49ers at home
TheKanataThrilla (3-Dec) : I meant 5th seed.
TheKanataThrilla (3-Dec) : Would it be better to be the 4th seed in the playoffs rather than the 3rd?
Zero2Cool (3-Dec) : Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera has been fired.
Cheesey (3-Dec) : Seattle took care of the Vikings for us!
Zero2Cool (3-Dec) : We better not bring Davis back.
TheKanataThrilla (3-Dec) : I don't think it was a conditional 6th so yes we do
gbguy20 (3-Dec) : do we still get our draft pick or....?
TheKanataThrilla (3-Dec) : Trevor Davis cut by the Raiders
Mucky Tundra (3-Dec) : And they need Dallas to lose all 4 of their remaining games
Mucky Tundra (3-Dec) : For the Skins to win the East, they need to win out, philly to win vs Dallas and lose their other 3 games
Nonstopdrivel (2-Dec) : Packers release Tremon Smith.
Nonstopdrivel (2-Dec) : Yeah—in a random drawing.
Porforis (2-Dec) : At 33, I still could win a spot on an NFL roster.
Mucky Tundra (2-Dec) : At 3-9, the Washington Redskins could still win the NFC East
gbguy20 (2-Dec) : definitely not
Zero2Cool (2-Dec) : nope
Nonstopdrivel (2-Dec) : Could we take this to the chat, so I don't have to keep refreshing?
