Wow, imagine how dumb this is for a guy like Sternberger. Can he participate in Training Camp?

I would say, at the age of 73 and being a nightly user when I go to bed, that’s no big deal.
But this is a young kid who is supposed to be a professional athlete making more money than I could ever dream of using and driving.
The kid is certainly not using his head.

Dude is a setback machine. How about staying on the field and producing?

I don't know about you, but as a kid in my early twenties, I never made a bad decision or used poor judgment. Not a single time. Kids these days, damn!!

It’s true almost all people make mistakes at that age.
I know I made my share.
A guy that’s a pro athlete has so much more to lose though. Especially a guy that’s on the bubble. That might just cost him his extremely high paying job.

Since this is supposively isn't about Cannabis, can we take it out of the subject line? That will just cause confusion...

Also, suspension (while not great) do give the team more options when cutting down to the 53 man roster.

Like last year the Packers wanting to keep injured CB Ento (spelling) on the 53 man roster, so they could IR him and he was potentially available to return.

The Packers had to decide whom to release for two or three days and hope no one claims, before putting Ento on IR and resigning said player.

Which happened with Lazard a couple of years ago, and I still can't believe they choose him, we were lucky not to lose him.

But now they can simply put Sternberger on the suspended list and can keep 54 guys for the 53 man roster cut down.

These kids started playing football early in life and even though most have a college education, it doesn't guarantee they'll make money post-football. The careers in the NFL are not that long. Now if you're expecting a kid in his early twenties to understand, comprehend and rationalize this before making decisions, I have a bridge to sell you.

It's high time we stop ignoring that football players are HUMAN BEINGS who make HUMAN MISTAKES. I am not saying they are excused from consequences, but shit, why do so many (not you Alan) come down so hard on kids being ... kids? Let's see if Jace learns from his mistake. By all accounts, he's taken the proper steps to be accountable for his actions. What the hell more do people want?

I understand what happened. And him admitting and taking responsibility for his actions is huge to me.
He’s lucky he didn’t hurt or kill someone.
I truly hope he doesn’t lose his job over this.

Zero2Cool (9h) : Site was down. Host had server issues.
KRK (14h) : Weird, I could get the site with great wifi, but via cellular, no dice
beast (17h) : Patriots also have an OL coach that's not coaching this year... Media speculating he doesn't want to get the vaccine
beast (17h) : So was the site down or could I just not load it for a while there today?
Zero2Cool (19h) : Rick Dennison is out as Vikings offensive line coach/run game coordinator after refusing the COVID-19 vaccine.

Cheesey (21-Jul) : Really, by the standards of “big city” champs, it was a very well behaved group. No cars tipped over, no windows smashed, no fires started.
dfosterf (21-Jul) : 1 light pole climbing, a couple of river swimmers, 1 crowd surfer, and only 3 shot during the celebration. Church-like behavior by NBA fan standards

Zero2Cool (20-Jul) : That comes to you from Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Zero2Cool (20-Jul) : Rodgers declined the offer, proof it’s not about the money.
Zero2Cool (20-Jul) : This off-season, the Packers offered Aaron Rodgers a two-year contract extension that would have tied him to Green Bay for five more seasons and made him the highest-paid QB and player in football. R
Zero2Cool (20-Jul) : uh oh Hotel Desk Manager just made a great point. @Bucks have closed out every series on the road.

dfosterf (19-Jul) : They moved (replaced) that tank in order to make room for an undisclosed expansion to Lambeau. There is a lot of (humor) material to work with here in the upcoming shareholders meeting
dfosterf (19-Jul) : The construction workers in 2003 put a sign on the old tank that read: "Minnesota Vikings locker room"
Zero2Cool (19-Jul) : We have Bears locker room under the parking lot?
dfosterf (19-Jul) : Plus we moved the 400,000 gallon poop collection tank to under the player parking lot, so we have that going for us as well!
Zero2Cool (19-Jul) : I think that's a great point. I believe it's millions expected earned that were not earned. I'm not sure.
