Aside from constantly reverting to the McCarthy offense, the salary cap won't let us keep all these these good players.

I say, keep the defense. They at least have been consistent.

If you cut all these guys on D, you get nothing. But trade Aaron, you get multiple #1 picks. No-brainer.

Aaron has been inconsistent since that time in 2015 when he dropped off the cliff in week 6.

When he runs the offense, he's unstoppable. But he doesn't do that enough. It's Matt's system that is unstoppable, not Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers has been a great regular season QB. It is hard to tell how many of these critical 4th quarter playoff failures fall on him vs the o line or the coach but it is a dissapointing pattern. My heart would like him to get another trophy but, objectively, I think the Packers would benefit in the long term with a trade. Love did not demonstrate that he is the answer but it is hard to imagine him doing much worse in today's game.

I thought Aaron played like shit 50% of the time this year. Greatest "thrower of the football" ever.

Rodgers did not play bad tonight. It’s extremely tough to throw perfect balls in those conditions. I think Rodgers did enough to win. Our “special” teams cost us this game 100%. MLF also abandoned the running game for some reason. Oh well, at least the stress is over for this season.

What happened to getting the ball out fast?
I thought the Niners Dbacks were no good? You tell me Cobb or Lazard couldn’t get open while Adams was triple teamed???
Yes, our “special” teams cost us the game. 3 points on the blocked FG, 7 points on the blocked punt.
I guess it’s just as well.....had we won, it would have made me throw up to watch Brady walk off Lambeau Field the NFC winner again.
I’m so disgusted.

Same thing happened that always happens. Aaron held the ball too long, passed up guys underneath and scrambled to the right.

You can’t just get rid of the ball fast if nobody is open. I think we just got out coached pretty bad tonight.

They double and triple teamed Adams. Someone had to be open.
Rodgers had his Adams “blinders” on and didn’t look for anyone else.
JMO of course.
Another wasted season.

Rodgers seems to panic and go for it all instead of taking what defense gives him. It's why I say Drew Brees and Tom Brady were better. Even Peyton Manning. You have to move the chains.

Drew Brees is not better. He had one ring and a bunch of 7-9 seasons. His playoff record is far worse.

With that said, they showed video on that hail mary pass to Devantae who was in triple coverage and Lazard was wide open all alone 20 yards down the field and he still forced it to Adams. Ho check it out. There wasnt a single defender near him.

Lazard should of gotten on Rodgers ass like he does to his WRs when they drop passes or run the wrong route

For as great as Rodgers is, he does not spread the ball around and zero in on Adams. The offense faulting is on him

And thinking QB wins is a stat is where you lost me completely. Because the NFL is great because of it being a team game. This isn't the NBA where you can have one guy change everything, because you can't in the NFL. the QB doesn't play defense. The QB doesn't play special teams. So therefore, QB wins is not a stat to measure a QB in any shape or form and I won't deal with that nonsense.

QB's who take what defenses give them, I like them more than those who pass up moving the chains for throwing into double coverage. I'm also aware that hey sometimes that works!! I don't need the big sexy. I need the big consistency from my QB. For whatever reason, in big games it seems Rodgers stops trusting everyone not named his WR1.

Sadly, I think this is the end of Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, if not the NFL.

I wouldn't be against keeping Aaron in the fold if he would play for free allowing the Packers to get on firm financial ground regarding the cap.
Being the case that it won't happen, Rodgers needs to go so the Packers can start to move on to a new era.

Yes I see you saying Rodgers did no wrong as usual but you did make a very interesting comment that jumped out at me. MLF abandoned the running game. That jumps out at me because how many times have we heard that excuse thru the years, MLF abandoned the run game we lost in the playoffs, Mike McCarthy abandoned the running game and we lost. To me, I think I hear that every year just about and people always blame the coach but I thought in pretty much every play call is a run play and a pass play option Rodgers has? I remember complaining about this years ago and asked how much of it was Rodgers changing out of the run game and people would say it was the coach, but its a common denominator here so I would be interested in finding out how much of the play calling was changed.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂

As far as the run game.....to me, it seems that when they did try to run, they got slammed at the LOS.
The run wasn’t working.
They SHOULD have used the quick short passes that they used in other games this season.
Rodgers saying they took away the short game, to me is B.S.
If they did, then guys should have been open long.
My opinion is, his Adams blinders were the problem.
Maybe if Adams leaves, and they find a way to keep Rodgers, that might actually help the offense. Look how it worked other times when Adams was out.
I love Adams, but something has to change. It’s obviously not working the way it is.

I'm hoping he plays next year. Either for Packers or elsewhere. If he retires, the Packers miss out on either a great QB or handful of high picks. In a very much "careful what you ask for" tone, I kinda wouldn't mind seeing him get traded for a 1st and two 2nds plus a player or two. Broncos got 9th overall. 🤷‍♂️

It really does feel icky even thinking that, but the guy just bottles up in the playoffs and gets tunnel vision. We've always said if the other team is under 20, we'll win. Well, 49ers got 13 and ahh well you know.

packerfanwayoutwest (1h) : it's part of building chemistry
packerfanwayoutwest (1h) : I know the OTA's are vouluntary, just seems like he would want to start seeing what the newbs are made of
Cheesey (2h) : The newbies need to learn the playbook first.
Zero2Cool (3h) : That doesn't happen until training camp. OTAs aren't like that. Which is probably why they're voluntary. That's my guess.
packerfanwayoutwest (4h) : doesn't he want the new WR to get on his bus?
Zero2Cool (5h) : Said something about the ramp up. No throwing. Throwing. No throwing and then training camp and throwing for months.
Zero2Cool (5h) : Rodgers said his arm never felt better during season than when he skipped OTAs in 2020.
civic (7h) : Load management? Maybe that’s why MLF is not too bothered?
civic (7h) : Do they want to use up a 38 year old arm when they are going to the super bowl?
Cheesey (14h) : Ding ding ding! We have a winner!!!😁
bboystyle (20h) : Because its Voluntary?
packerfanwayoutwest (22h) : Why is #12 not at voluntary OTA's?
wpr (26-May) : Whatta jerk. ;)
Zero2Cool (26-May) : Christian Watson the only unsigned Packers draft pick now.
Zero2Cool (26-May) : NFL/NFLPA keep the 16-player practice squads, with the call-up previsions.
Cheesey (26-May) : I know I don't. He can just go away as far as I'm concerned.
Zero2Cool (26-May) : Who cares bout that bum
packerfanwayoutwest (26-May) : Kaepernick a Raider?
Zero2Cool (25-May) : Packers claim Chris Slayton off waivers, who joins a crowded IDL room

Zero2Cool (24-May) : OTA's are blah, but sure is nice to hear from players.
Zero2Cool (24-May) : The look on her face when she realized it was root beer was funny. She was about to get someone to card me (she was under 18) and went "oh wait, ugh, how embarrasing"
wpr (24-May) : Root beer is a gateway drink to wanting, you know, brewing up roots.
Zero2Cool (24-May) : Sammy Watkins not at OTA's. 9 year vet, but no Rodgers no sammy
Zero2Cool (24-May) : Scouting Combine will remain in Indianapolis in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (24-May) : It was freaking root beer!!
Cheesey (24-May) : You SHOULD have been THRILLED to be carded! It means she thought you were younger then you look! (Or she has really bad eyesight!)😜🤪
Zero2Cool (23-May) : Haskins had been out drinking at a Miami nightclub, got into a fight, and left, investigators say. He was in the car with a woman and they ran out of gas.

Zero2Cool (23-May) : Seahawks have signed speedy WR Marquise Goodwin.
Zero2Cool (23-May) : By a little girl younger than my daughters! I was like listen here you little shit!!
Zero2Cool (23-May) : Although, I was attempted to be carded for Root Beer the other weekend.
Zero2Cool (23-May) : No shit.
Cheesey (23-May) : Once you hit 40.....it hits back!🤪
Zero2Cool (23-May) : I am having Mock PTSD. I just saw Christian Watson and Packers and thought, Ugh, enough with the damn mocks already! then went, oh... wait
buckeyepackfan (20-May) : Absurd is a 5 star high school qb starting price ro play in college is 8 Million! Per Dan Patrick
