Let's assume Aaron Rodgers will not play for the Packers in 2023.
Let's also assume that Aaron Rodgers does not play for a team in the NFC in 2023.

What are YOUR top five quarterbacks in the NFC?

If you need help (I did!) coming up with five names ...

Kirk Cousins
Jared Goff
Jalen Hurts
Daniel Jones
Jordan Love
Kyler Murray
Dak Prescott
Brock Purdy
Geno Smith
Matthew Stafford

1. Jalen Hurts
2. Geno Smith
3. Matthew Stafford
4. Kirk Cousins
5. Jordan Love
6. Jared Goff
7. Dak Prescott
Then the rest..

? on Stafford, if healthy, I could see him #1, can also see him dropping out if top 7 if his injuries are still hanging around.

Put J. Love #5 because he is the unknown.
Hell , I'm a Packer fan, he should be #1!!!!

Quote:

NFC

Atlanta Falcons
Desmond Ridder

Arizona Cardinals
Kyler Murray (injured)

Carolina Panthers
Andy Dalton

Chicago Bears
Justin Fields

Dallas Cowboys
Dak Prescott

Detroit Lions
Jared Goff

Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers / Jordan Love

Los Angeles Rams
Matthew Stafford

Minnesota Vikings
Kirk Cousins

New Orleans Saints
Derek Carr

New York Giants
Daniel Jones

Philadelphia Eagles
Jalen Hurts

San Francisco 49ers
Brock Purdy/Trey LanceBrock Purdy (injured) / Trey Lance / Sam Darnold

Seattle Seahawks
Geno Smith

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Kyle Trask/Baker Mayfield

Washington Commanders
Sam Howell/Jacoby Brissett

I found this list online, taking Rodgers out of the NFC, I'd say...

My unknowns would beDesmond Ridder
Kyler Murray (injured)
Brock Purdy (injured) / Trey Lance / Sam Darnold
Kyle Trask/Baker MayfieldJordan Love

Trying to rank the rest

1) Matthew Stafford, Rams are rebuilding, but Stafford is still the best QB even if he doesn't have the talent to compete right now.

2) Jalen Hurts, whom was picked after Love
3) Geno Smith, Smith actually looked like a real full time starting QB of course he has a lot of talent around him, but I don't think he lost much of that talent in the off-season.

4) Kirk Cousins, very good and extremely consistent, both good and bad, he's absolutely amazing when not pressured and gets in trouble more than other QBs when he is pressured. So kinda depends how much he's pressured.
5) Dak Prescott, would be higher on the list if not for injuries risk

6) Justin Fields, I'm projecting a large leap year here, Fields hasn't had a decent OL nor weapons to work with and they're doing a good job of improving the offensive talent around him, plus he's a great runner and defense might give up a ton of points still letting him running up the surface and point in shootouts.
7) Jared Goff, Lions had one of the best offenses last year, though run heavy, but still, Goff did his part.
😎 Derek Carr, maybe I'm too high on Carr, though I don't know why the Raiders disliked him so much
9) Daniel Jones, hasn't had much to work with and still doesn't... he's better than his stats but inconsistent and will continue to be so until they improve what's around him.

10) Jacoby Brissett, best of the career backups
11) Andy Dalton, second best of the career backups
Honorable Mention: Matt Ryan, whom is currently a FA.

I think you are looking at Hurts, Dak, Carr, Cousins and Fields as my top 5.  Hurts with the combination of runnig and stud receivers should be 1. Dak is loaded at the WR position so he should light it up along with Carr in New Orleans with Kamara, Thomas, Olave should be scary. Cousins will put up the big stats and once again noone will even notice. And the sleeper is Fields, he has shown he can change a game by running but now he has one of the top receivers in Moore to go along with Mooney so the passing game should pick up.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂

Hurts, then everyone else. Fields could be as good as they want him to be, presuming they develop him.

Love will be right up there. I'm confident.

When its said and done, Fields will be a top 5 Packers QB all time just like Jay Cutler is. The man keeps feeding our defense.

Perhaps, but IIRC the kid has had 3OCs, a crappy line, and MEH receivers.  I think the kid will be very good one there is a level of talent and stability around him.

If the Bears stand behind him, AND develop him. We'll see. I still believe we've got the best QB in the division.

Even if we have the best QB in the division, they don't currently seem to be trying to put the pieces around him this year to win the division.

Seems like a rebuilding year. Losing a lot of receivers (WR and TEs). As well as DT Reed and seemingly S Amos whom both seemed to be some of the glue holding the defensive together at times last year.

All things considered, I think Love can be very very good, but as Beast pointed out, we lack many pieces particularly O Line, tight end, and depth at wide out.

Also, regarding these lists, I am very surprised most of you did not mention Daniel Jones in your top 5.  I would take him over most of the QB mentioned...maybe all of them.

go.pack.go. (2h) : Price will depend on how big the tree is, liability that it includes such as threatening a house, building, fence, etc
go.pack.go. (2h) : I am a procurement forester but I help with tree work on the side from time to time. Learned all about it in college and whatnot
go.pack.go. (2h) : No more tree of course
go.pack.go. (2h) : Tree removal is very expensive, and yes tree companies should remove the tree from your property all together and leave your place looking as if they weren’t even there. Except for there being no more
Zero2Cool (4h) : I wasn't expecting it to be cheap. I was thinking the three in front maybe ~1,500 but i could buy a stump grinder for that.
dfosterf (4h) : It's not going to be cheap. Certified arborists make good money. You cannot do A or E without one. If D fell on the house it looks like it would be no big deal, but the picture might be fooling me.
Zero2Cool (4h) : I have a feeling these trees being removed gonna cost me lot more than I was bargaining
Zero2Cool (5h) : I haven't had much issue ever will drills. I have a pretty firm grip. BUT I also haven't had a chainsaw in my hand while trying to balance on a ladder
Zero2Cool (5h) : Hmm, maybe I just use my sawsall to cut it down. I'll be back in four months.
dfosterf (5h) : Ever had a drill get stuck in the work and twist your hand? Exact same speed as a chainsaw kickback. I don't think even batman dodges that.
Zero2Cool (5h) : WTF is the dark knight doing cutting down dudes trees!!!!
Zero2Cool (5h) : Not a worry, I'll wear my Batman suit!! Imagine the photos!!
dfosterf (5h) : Oh oh, lol Chainsaw accidents average 80 stitches in the emergency room according to the US Forest service. 🤣
Zero2Cool (5h) : holy crap, you can rent a 35 ft lift for $300 for a whole day??
Zero2Cool (5h) : I'll post pictures. One of them is probably 50 feet tall
dfosterf (5h) : I'm sure when he gets his estimates they will render opinions on his plan
dfosterf (5h) : Or dumped, depending on the truck
dfosterf (5h) : Thing is, if he's hiring a tree service, my guess is we are talking some big trees. That shit usually gets craned on and off the chipper shredder truck.
beast (6h) : That's why some wooden ramps can be nice. And heck, you got the wood with the tree. Turn it into a ramp, wheel barrow the rest onto the truck 😋
dfosterf (6h) : I don't know the diameters you'd be dealing with, but tree sections are almost invariably a hell of a lot heavier than they look
Zero2Cool (6h) : Eh, that's not right. It's more like three an half feet. Still sucks loading things into it.
Zero2Cool (6h) : Damn tailgate is almost four feet above ground.
Zero2Cool (6h) : Considering there's no way in hell I can lift something much longer into my damn truck, shouldn't be problem!
Zero2Cool (6h) : Wood must be cut to 4-foot sections to be accepted at the Waste Transfer Station.
Mucky Tundra (6h) : Zero2Stumped
Cheesey (6h) : Sounds like ZERO is....STUMPED! LOL!
Zero2Cool (6h) : Basically cost of cutting tree x,y and z individually, and cost of stump grinding per tree and clean up haha
Zero2Cool (6h) : I have stump grinding listed too as question. I feel kinda bad cuz I got like five quotes I want haha
dfosterf (7h) : Don't forget about the stump. That you can diy, but stump grinders are expensive to rent. They are a bit of a beast to operate, too.
Zero2Cool (7h) : Ugh. I'm so damn ignorant on this stuff!! Thanks for the heads up.
dfosterf (7h) : Some of the municipality dumps that accept tree debris have a maximum diameter that they will accept, so you might want to check on that before deciding on who is taking the tree
Zero2Cool (7h) : Packers announce Family Night will be held August 5th
Zero2Cool (7h) : I'm not sure what to expect, never did this before and first place comes today for estimate. I just compiling list of questions haha
dfosterf (8h) : Kidding aside, you sure they aren't coming back for it? Maybe went to get the chipper shredder?
dfosterf (8h) : Unless you hired the tree cut down and left company, which we don't have in our yellow pages 🙃
dfosterf (8h) : Well, it's called tree removal, so you'd think removal would at least be part of the conversation 😉
Zero2Cool (8h) : Looks like there's a public works spot near me that I can just dump it at. That might save me a few bucks
Zero2Cool (9h) : When you have a tree removed, do they commonly take the tree or is that on you?
dfosterf (10h) : I missed those comments. Curious as to what Bakhtiari said...
Zero2Cool (11h) : Sean Rhyan seems to have been raw deal with what got him suspended. At least, based on David Bakhtiari's comments. Too soon to really know about the kid yet
go.pack.go. (12h) : Dfoster, what’s wrong with Tucker Kraft?
go.pack.go. (12h) : Cheesey, yes I’ve been extremely busy lol
dfosterf (4-Jun) : Slip a kid standing outside the stadium 20 bucks and let him make the pick going forward. That collective obviously cannot.
dfosterf (4-Jun) : By any reasonable criteria to date, Sean Rhyan was the worst pick in the 3rd round last year
dfosterf (4-Jun) : Thus far, out front office failed yet again in the 3rd round of the draft.
Cheesey (4-Jun) : Gopackgo, I'm sure you are more then a little busy!😁
go.pack.go. (4-Jun) : Thanks everyone who congratulated me! Sorry I haven’t been on in a few days and I’m just now seeing the responses
Cheesey (2-Jun) : Kevin, you got it! They won't feel as bad about themselves! "Hey Ma! Ain't they losers? And you thought WE was bad!!!"
Cheesey (2-Jun) : Kevin on "The View". ..."Kevin, are you a right wing or left wing? ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!" Kevin:"I'm a CHICKEN wing!"🤪
Zero2Cool (2-Jun) : I think people like those "reality" shows feel insecure in their life, so watching others to put them down makes them feel better.
