I think he will do very well in Pittsburgh.
He was given a raw deal with turnover in the coaching staff and very limited quality on the offensive line.
I think the reset will be very good for his career. I am glad he did not go to Minnesota.
Go Packers!!!!

I do not think he's going to do well in Pittsburgh. I think physically he is gifted, but most great players say the game is mostly between the ears. I think he is lacking in that department. I hate saying that because its such a crap thing to say. The things I've heard him say. He just comes off more worried about the outside noise than what is happening between the sidelines. Maybe Mike Tomlin can get his focus improved?

I think the Steelers have the similar issues as the Bears... with OL, and Fields has been in the Wide Zone scheme which is said to be among the most QB friendly schemes and had an OC that's willing to run it a ton.

Maybe a fresh start with help Fields and maybe having a QB veteran and new coaches, but I think his issue is mentally.

One stat people have talked about with Fields is pressures converting to sacks percentages, Fields number is very high, which is understandable for non-mobile QBs, but Fields is one of the most mobile QBs in the NFL. He not getting rid of the ball, or not seeing someone open.

Many of you who I respect are making great points.

That notwithstanding, to have had live, meaningful game reps is a huge asset in a restart/reboot, and I think he will do well...we shall see.

Go Packers!!!!
