Since I'm not a bandwagon jumper, my dream season would be the Packers going all the way.

For Brett, him to do well, except against the Packers and lose twice against us. The rest of his season, I'll pull for him to do well.

My dream scenario is for the Pack to go into Minneapolis and absolutely spank the Vikes. I want to see Peterson completely neutralized and battered forcing the Vikes to turn to the passing game as the fall behind early. I want the abuse to then turn to Favre as he's sacked time after time, blindsided and tossed around like a rag doll. He'll get frustrated and start forcing balls into triple coverage only to see Woodson, then Harris, and even Kampman take interceptions to the house.

Then on Favre's return to Green Bay I want him to be taking the Vikings on a drive in the fourth quarter with a 3 point lead and a chance to seal the game only to throw an interception in the end zone on a play he audibled to so that he could have his revenge. Rodgers would then march 80 yards and score a touchdown on a post route to Jennings on the final play of the game.

The loss would be so demoralizing to Favre that he would completely fall apart the rest of the season causing the Vikes to narrowly miss the playoffs, leaving them at home in January to watch the Packers complete an undefeated season and win a Super Bowl.

Favre has not historically played optimally in dome settings. It will be interesting to see how he plays when a dome is his home field.

After the Packers retire Jersey # 4

they should randomly trot it out and let other quarterbacks wear it at unexpected times until they finally really retire it.

This made me laugh out loud when I read it. Possibly the funniest comment  to emerge from this mess.

Another great comment from the same site:

Sign Booty

When the Vi_Queens cut John David Booty the pack should sign him to the practice squad and give him #4. He will know their playbook and terminolgy.

With Brett signing with the Vikes, what would be your dream scenerio for the season?

"PackerTraxx" wrote:

Pretty simple scenarios for me..

1) Packers to have a bounce back year and win the division.

2) The Bears choke on their blockbuster move at the QB position and lose to the Lions twice.

3) The Lions show marked improvement and finish 6 to 8 games upon last years history setting performance.

4) The Vikings open the season with a loss where the gent that thinks he is above the team and can show up whenever the hell he wants blows their final gasp chance at a win. Viking nations starts to splinter because of it and it crumbles from there on out.

Chilly is fired mid season for allowing Favre to lead his ass around by the nose ring...

They finish respectfully but the "Great Love Affair" with Favre turns quickly in Minnesota and ravishes the fan base much like it did ours. Then the infighting and discord can continue through the following offseason with the coming will he question.

All the while we (Foster, Rock and I on the PPO) can mutter the we told you so mantra.... we had to live with it, so we can share I think. ;)

Kind of the "You buy the golden cow.. you get the golden shit that goes along with it."
"The oranges are dry; the apples are mealy; and the papayas... I don't know what's going on with the papayas!"

What playbook?

That moron chilly has their plays on the back of a matchbook cover.

Cripes, didn't you notice, Favre was on the field for five minutes and was runnin' the show.

He had a tougher time learning the intricacies of that High school team he was farting around with in Hattiesburg the past couple of off-seasons.

dfosterf are you somehow implying that Favre will be the coach this season?

Funny you mention that.

A lot of the blame for the lack of development of T-Jack was put on the fact that Chilly's playbook was bigger than the NYC phonebook.
