I just read where Breaston is not going to play and Boldin tweaked a hamstring and did not practice today. The coach did not rule him out for Friday but if he didn't practice and it just happened they will probably keep him out or not let him play much.

Kind of a bummer. I wanted to see how we could match up with those two.

If that's the case it's a real shame as the Cards could be the true test of our team (I say could because they did struggle last week). It's funny if this was the regular season this would be good news.

Yes, I don't normally buy into the whole "I'd prefer their best guys against our best guys" thingy, 'cause I'll take a win regardless of who's playing or not playing on the opposing team. If their main guy is out, I'll take it...we can have a pissing match at a later date.

That said, as a measuring stick for us and our "it's only the preseason, and it's only the Browns and Bills" reservations, I would like an intact Cardinal's team to go up against.

I really wanted to see the D against a passing team at full force. Hopefully Boldin will end up going. Without the passing game, Arizona is not much of a offensive threat. Weren't they last in the league in YPC last year.

Well i guess our D will get to face a legit Qb and WR (fitz)....thats better then what the Browns and Bills had to offer (although the bills brought it to the Bears who swear they have a great D and better O)

Depends what you mean by YPC (I'm assuming yards per carry). Their Yards Per Catch were approximately 11.7 (their defense allowed an astoundingly even 11.6 yards per catch). While their Yards Per Carry were 3.5 (while the defense allowed 4.0). Yards per carry is actually referred to as yards per (rushing) attempt or more commonly as plain AVG. You have a great point, the Cardinals sucked at running the ball last year.

From National Football Post

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) Arizona wide receiver Anquan Boldin sat out practice with a sore right hamstring Wednesday and probably will miss the Cardinals' game against Green Bay on Friday night.

Coach Ken Whisenhunt says Boldin felt a problem with the hamstring late in practice on Tuesday but an MRI showed no serious injury.

The Cardinals might also be without wide receiver Steve Breaston, who has been sidelined with a bruised knee. If both miss the game, Jerheme Urban would move up to No. 2 receiver behind Larry Fitzgerald.

Arizona is expected to have the services of rookie running back Beanie Wells, who missed the first two preseason games with a sprained ankle.

If Beanie is healthy, he will give The Packs front 7 a test.

That was his whole problem at OSU, staying on the field.

Hopefully he is at full strength.

The Crdinal defense came on strong late last year, they have some big guys up front, hoping to see The Packers offense keep it going.

A win is fine in pre-season, but if Our 1st stringers outplay their 1st stringers, then I will be ok with that.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!
