Good man. Plus you can see the respect that the players have for him. He and Ted Thompson are putting together a program with staying power.

Seems like the players don't take advantage of MM. I mean they know when to play around with him and when to shut up and listen.

For all the assholes who say that McCarthy's record hasn't been acceptable:

But of the seven NFL head coaches hired the same year, McCarthy has fared better than all of them. His 28-21 record ranks above the Saints Sean Payton, the Vikings Brad Childress and the Texans Gary Kubiak. Three other head coaches from the Class of 2006 were fired: the Rams Scott Linehan, the Lions Rod Marinelli and the Jets Eric Mangini.

McCarthy is one game better than Mike Holmgren (27-22) after a similar number of games at the Packers helm. But he doesnt worry about living up to past Packers coaching greats.

Eat that, suckers.
