I know for a fact the Rodgers tried to throw 2 passes away. But damn if Finley and Nelson didn't somehow catch them for TDs.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

Rodgers is mobile so why not use that mobility more?

Maybe because he's already getting hit in the double digits every game? With every run, he's exposing himself to the possibility of another major hit and another injury. I love his mobility as much as the next guy, but I don't want him sacrificing his own health just to give his offensive linemen a break. It's their job to watch out for him, not his to watch out for them.

Has anyone else worried about the David Carr effect?

People have correctly pointed out that Rodgers sometimes holds onto the ball too long. But the reality is that he's getting hit an awful lot. And, it seems to me that as long as the OL problems persist, might it be more likely that Rodgers will develop more bad habits (happy feet, bad mechanics, etc) rather than less?
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

They had this same problem a few years back. Suspect line and a QB that was taking to many hits. They simply ran plays that had the QB rollout to his right. Sealed off that side of the field and let "HIM" :angel11: toss the rock. It worked fairly well. Granted he is only using half the field but at least they were able to throw the ball without him getting manhandled every time.
Aaron Rodgers will also add the dimension of being able to run the rall if no one is open.

Yep. I have worried about it and mentioned it. At some point it becomes pretty unrealistic to ask your QB not to let the fact that every snap is a jailbreak affect him.

I am very worried that this issue is going to degrade his level of play at some point if it's not dealt with.

When it was happening wit another team, I didn't much care but now this is starting to hit too close to home.

Mentioned this before as well. This will have an impact on both his body and his psyche. QBs that take that much hits don't last long in the NFL. At least not on a high level.

I know I posted this last time I made this statement as well, but it fits our issues and fears so perfectly....

The Packers have two weeks to fix the offensive line. How do you go about it?

This is my plan

Sign Levi Jones and Mark Tauscher.

Two veterans that can come in and fill in if there is an injury. Get them up to date with the offense and that shouldn't be hard for Tauscher.

To make room, cut Breno G and Evan Dietrich-Smith.

Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
