This is just the fan voting. counts for 1/3, just goes to show what a Superbowl win will do for players when it comes to fan voting.

The 2 surprises IMHO are John Kuhn at Fb, and Jarret Bush as Special team player, usually the ST player is a returner(If I remember right),
Enjoy the ride – It kicks and just keeps on kickin’. "Stats are for Losers"

LOL, Lang is good, but over Sitton? I guess they count the guard spots as different positions, but Dann! And Bush!?

With the obvious exceptions of Chad Clifton and Charles Woodson, the top-vote getters are decent this year. Justin Smith is finally getting the love he's been due for the last 3 years.

Woodson is leading the NFL in INTs. Also, check his data on the RashaanSalami posts. His coverage isn't 2010, but it's still pretty good.

Only 9? That's CRAP! There should be 22 Packers leading the voting. The Packers have the best players in the league at EVERY position!!!

This could become a bit difficult with only 19 different positions.

Er, what's a momoluc?

(I only have four project binders and two classes worth of grades left, so I'm taking a break and I see big words I don't know.)

Couldn't find it on dictionary.com. But then again, Dakota's spelling ability is between 2nd and 3rd grade so who knows what he was shooting for.

I told you dumbasses this before. Cliff Clavin used the word to describe Carla's new husband when he was goaltending for the Bruins.

Oh yeah, that's how much detail I put into television. I have a mind chock full of uselessness.

A Mamluk (transliterated variously as mamlouk, mamluq, mamluke, mameluk, mameluke, mamaluke or marmeluke) was a slave who served as a soldier in Arabic cultures from the 9th through 19th century. The word comes from the Arabic مملوك (mamlūk), which meant "owned."

The famous Mameluke sword looks like this:

They are still carried by U.S. Marines in certain ceremonial contexts.

As an insult, it fails. I think people try to use it with the connotation of "troglodyte" or "Neanderthal" or something similar, but it misses wide of the mark.
