Interesting that they traded there while Lacy was still on the board. Apparently the 49ers gave up a 6th rounder and swapped places in the 2nd. I get the feeling that was a move to get more ammunition to trade for another 3rd rounder.

#Packers send No. 55 pick to #49ers, get No. 61 and an additional pick -- No. 173 (a sixth-rounder) -- in return.

WTF Ted.
Might as well given the Bears, Lions, or Vikings more ammo as the 49ers.

My guess is they are confident in Harris and company. And Ted didn't like what he saw at 55. I hope we're looking at a Saftey at 61.

or confident that they could get one of the players they have equally graded at 61 plus gain a pick.

If he gets past Denver, Lacey could still be available.
I guess ATL could still take him to sit behind Jackson.

Now that I like. getting the 6th round pick wasn't very much. especially when dealing with SF. Make em bleed.

Ted knew he could have Ball or the Alabama RB. Either one is a good pick.
Now he has an extra 6th round pick.

Ted better package something because we didn't need the 173rd pick in the draft.

Ted will work his magic. Don't be impatient with the draft like Mike Sherman.
Trust the coaching staff to coach up that 6th round pick.

3rd round is flying bye! Jesse Williams still on the board here, would love to add some more beef on the line! Ryan Swope or Steadman Bailey would also be fine with me here!

88th overall pick...TRADED to 49ers!
From the #49ers, the #Packers get No. 93 and No. 216 (a seventh-round pick) for No. 88. So Packers move back five spots this time.

I dont really see the need to trade down here, especially with the 49ers...AGAIN! Several good players on the board that I love ughhhh. Anyone know the compensation yet? Just sucks if we traded out of the 3rd for a late 4th and some other late rounders.
