The reason i say he will be gone is because of Free Agency and Zero you control this site and your telling me you don't know where all the threads are where people compare Rodgers to Brett and to Romo cmon now if you need me to go find the thread i'll find them called Favre vs. Rodgers or Rodgers better than Romo

Do you realize how unrealistic this statement is? Not to mention how absurd? If there was only 2 people posting, sure, but even then like I have enough time to do YOUR research for you.

I asked you a simple question and you have failed to provide any example. Just because someone runs the website doesn't mean they are responsible to prove or disprove your theories or statements.

If you say something, you, YOU need to provide the source that validates it, not others who question the validity of your comments.

I'm not sure why dh is so mad at people comparing Rodgers to Romo. If you've followed their careers they are eerily similar and by being offended by this comparison makes me think you're pretty high on Romo which is surprising for a Packer fan. Right now Romo maybe is a little more mature but I bet if we could trade Rodgers for Romo straight up there wouldn't be many fans on here who would take that.
Sad thing is this is such a good Packer team and some people are missing out cause of bitter feelings. Those people will be sorry when we go back through a decade of losing and they'll wonder why they didn't enjoy these years

Ok here is some stats Favre Rodgers
completion percentage 70% (2nd) 64% (13th)
Tds 6 (3rd) 4 ( 9th)
yards 646 ( 14th) 796 (6th)

Rodgers has played against weaker pass defenses in Detroit and Minn.

So the rookie Favre (30 days in a system) in my mind is doing alot better job then a 3 year player. :P

Gotta love stats and ya i know you with bring up the passer rating which in my mind is a bs stat i mean rich gannon lead that stat one year. But i will compare more after Sundays games because it will be the quarter of the season.

And to be honest i don't see myself ever being a Rodgers fan i see him gone after next year. I'm thinking Graham Harrell would look great in Green and Gold next year :)

Your "stats" are wrong.
A quick check at NFL.com shows that GB has played Dallas #19, MN #20 & Det #23 in pass defense.
NYJ has played NE #14, Miami #25 and SD #31.
Clearly Rodgers has faced a tougher pass defense.
Also even if Brett has been in New Jersey for 30 days HE IS NOT A ROOKIE no matter how you look at it. I am sure he doesn't consider himself to be a rookie nor do his teammates.
Finally the passer rating is a good "indicator" of the effectiveness of a QB. Just because 1 year an avg QB was rated highest doesn't mean the system doesn't work.

We dont like FACTS here

I think Brett will get his average stats like he has every year. 25-30 tds 3000-4000 yards..

He still has it, but that doesnt mean I think Aaron Rodgers will be the q/b Brett ever was..

Yeah after more than a decade and a half Brett is learning what a slant route is wearing a Jets uniform because ya know a slant route is different when you're on a different team.

It is getting pretty pathetic how every Rodgers thread is getting turned into a Brett vs Aaron thread. I really thought we were better than this.

What I want to know is, why CAN'T people support both Rodgers and Favre? Why must Rodgers be kicked off the team just because Favre is no longer on it also? What the hell good that does achieve?

Rodgers won't depart through free agency (unless something really drastic happens). Why would anyone wish that anyway? What has Rodgers done other than his job quietly and professionally? He didn't force Brett to retire or unretire.

I can not understand why either. Farve is gone. It does not matter if it was the right choice or not by Ted Thompson and MM. HE AIN'T HERE NO MORE.

Either those who worship at the feet of B.F. should become Jets fans and move on to one of their boards or support the current Packer team.

when i made my first comment i was just stating i am so sick of people hyping up Rodgers after 3 games but like this thread Rodgers groomed well, now you tell me how you can tell if he was groomed well after 3 games. Then as for you Zero here this one is called Brett Favre and Rodgers comparison

i could keep going but cmon people he has played 3 games before you keep saying he is better then the rest let him prove it

as far as im concerned Rodgers better get us to the NFC Championship game or it was a bust after all we have the same team as last year minus the qb but then again alot of people on here claim rodgers is better anyhows so that should put us in the Super bowl. Ok i'm done on this subject I'm a Packer fan and a Brett fan because he plays the game for fun.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

dfosterf (12h) : Put him at right guard. That is where he will be coached. That is where he will compete. He is not even allowed to look at the LT playbook.
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Kidding aside, I hope the best for him.
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Went to a Titans board. One comment there. Not very long. I quote: "LOL" They don't sound overly upset about our aquisition.

dfosterf (18-Apr) : Suit him up and have him stand in front of the big board as a draft day cautionary tale.

Zero2Cool (7-Apr) : Go Badgers!!!
Martha Careful (6-Apr) : Go Boilermakers!!!
Martha Careful (5-Apr) : Diggs has not stepped up in the playoffs and has a high cost
beast (5-Apr) : Probably not going to let Diggs walk away unless he's horrible... but according to reports he also might not be as good as he used to be.
beast (5-Apr) : The 25th pick in the draft has been an offensive player since 2017, 2 TE, 2 WR, 1 RB, 1 OC
Mucky Tundra (5-Apr) : Odd, why give up a 2025 2nd Rounder for him if you're just gonna let him walk?
Zero2Cool (4-Apr) : Texans to let Diggs be free agent in '25
buckeyepackfan (4-Apr) : 49r's aign RB Patrick Taylor.
Martha Careful (4-Apr) : Reversion to the mean would indicate we will keep it
Zero2Cool (4-Apr) : It's also been utilized in a trade in 14 of the past 20 years
Zero2Cool (4-Apr) : The 25th pick in the draft hasn't been made by it's original holder since 2016.
Mucky Tundra (4-Apr) : Gotta imagine that Green Bay vs Houston will be a primetime game this upcoming season
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
