I didn't see the Cards - Jets game, and I can't get any Football news on TV, but I read on another forum that Boldin was injured pretty badly, not moving at all while being tackled in the end-zone.
Wikipedia has a pretty disturbing entrance to it aswell.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anquan_BoldinI couldn't find it on any news site or anything though. Anyone else know anything about this?
*EDIT* - NFL.com just got some news on it,
http://blogs.nfl.com/200...-taken-off-on-stretcher/Thank god it's not as bad as some people make you believe, but still, let's hope he'll play again soon enough.

That is great to hear. It was a violent hit in the endzone from 2 jets players and the helmet to helmet contact was as brutal as i've seen in a while.

One of my favorite players currently in the league.. not the fastest guy around but he knows how to run a route, has sticky fingers and plays hard even when he is pissed at the franchise.
Not to mention he is a FSU player..
I wish him the very best on his recovery.. it sounded like good news last night.. hopefully there are no set backs.

The latest I heard was it was a concussion and he might be ready to go in a week. That was on a fantasy board, so not sure how accurate it was, but still, I hope it is. I was worried it was a neck injury. A concussion is soooo much better than a neck injury. Still, not good, but I think you catch my drift.
I hate seeing people going down and not getting back up. That stuff scares me.

Agreed. I was in Buffalo last season when Chad Johnson went down and seeing both teams kneeling and praying is very scary stuff.
Probably not the thread to bitch about the refs, but how did the refs miss not one but two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties? I was cheering for the Jets, but was absolutely pissed that no flag was thrown as the second head shot was one of the worst helmet-to-helmet hits I have ever seen.

Whisenhunt says he's ok, according to nfl.com. I just saw the hit on youtube. It looked REALLY bad.
