Tough loss. O-line got crushed in the last drive causing all those tipped passes. Hopefully we can come out healthy after the bye and get our key players back.

Over reaction. The Packers are still a contender, as much as the Bengals, 49'ers, and even a few other hopefuls are. They just have to get healthy. They're not Super Bowl favorites, but so long as they make the playoffs and can be relatively healthy, they'll be contending. Just make it to the dance (playoffs), and then everyone is 0-0. Recent history has proved that several times.

With all those tipped passes we better start calling some screens.
We will either win the division this year and take the #4 seed or we won't be in the playoffs.

I disagree. I still think the Packers will win 9, and maybe 10 games this season. I expect them to come back strong after the bye, so long as they start getting players healthy. Ten wins would be enough to win the division or get a wild card spot, imo.

That's my opinion, not a reaction, not an over reaction.
Just don't see the depth to overcome the injuries and the play execution is lacking big time. I also don't care for Rodgers throwing it deep all the time. This season, it hasn't worked in the several times I've noticed a wide open guy in the flat that would have netted a first down.
Simply put. The Packers aren't playing smart football. It appears they are playing arrogant football. Basically saying, we are the Packers, we are talented, give us the win.
My opinion, they are not contenders until some of these issues I mentioned are improved. The season is long. Got 13 more games. Anything can and will happen.
This opinion will most likely change vastly when players like Burnett, Matthews, Starks, Lacy, Bush, etc are healthier and the OL gets more games to gel.

Why does ESPN's Greg Easterbrook know that if you're 1st and goal, and you run, run, run, you'll score a TD better than 75% of the time, but Mike McCarthy does not?
Stupid football. Foolish play calling. Learn how to call a run game Mike...

I'd bet McCarthys teams convert in the red zone/ goal line area at a higher percentage than most if not all other teams.

Losing James Starks hurt. Johnathan Franklin did good, but would have been better if he could have been backed up by Starks.
Losing Jermichael Finley hurts the offense big time. I wonder if any Finley haters will acknowledge that yet.
Losing Clay Matthews III didn't help things either.
Bottom line, Packers were outplayed and are simply not a contender.
@jasonjwilde Bakhtiari misses cut block at the most critical time. Johnson deflects pass intended for Jones. #Packers will lose 34-30.
I'm pretty sure they are contenders if those guys are on the field. We just have bad luck with those injurys man..

Another bizarre loss. It's depressing, but came within a hair of winning both games despite all the crap of officiating, poor O Line play, inconsistent defense, uncharacteristic interceptions, injuries to key players.
Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but even if it was this bad every week, I just don't see us losing to hardly anybody else. And does anybody really think all this crap is gonna happen on a consistent basis?

Beginning to wonder.

Oddly enough, we only rank 12th with a 64% conversion rate. Last year we were just a little better at 68%.
I think we all feel we should be up near the top, but we are not. I think that speaks to coaching and poor prep and game management.

Yes, what he said. This has been on my mind since (especially) mid season last year. Coaching staff needs to know when to get creative, and when fundemental needs to be the focal point. Mike McCarthy has become too routine and predictable. When fans are knowing what the play is - obviously the coach on the other sideline will pick up on it.
The problems run deeper than the playcalling obviously, but good place to start. Also helps to catch the damn ball!!

http://www.teamrankings....ring-pct?date=2013-02-03Looks like #1 last year and #11 this year so far. That doesn't seem bad to me considering we've faced 2 probably good defenses so far.
