I think losing Joe as the OC was pretty big. Aaron is a great QB, but the insight, planning, and execution was better when Joe was here. That being said, we still are struggling in pass protection and when you rattle Aaron early, there will be times he plays too safe. Running the ball effectively probably caused the play of the game to Jordy with that beautiful play fake.

Losing two out of your three top targets is going to throw most teams out of whack for a while. I'm a little surprised they were able to do what they were able to do, really. Two crucial injuries like that can't be easy to adjust too. Add that to the poor pass protection and yeah, things probably aren't going to look that good. Other than the pass protection and a few drops, I thought things looked pretty good, all things considering.

I thought they looked pretty good considering the circumstances as well.

Figure, we have faced 4 outstanding defensive front 7s in the 5 games we played. All with a completely revamped OL, and a nearly all new set of RBs.

It will take time for any QB to adjust under those conditions. Rodgers & Co. look like they will be fine. SF, CIN, DET and BAL are all known for wreaking havoc Up front. Of those 4 games we worked a split. Our OL is improving, especially the Left side. Wow. Couldn't understand why they were running Right side yesterday. If TJ Lang and Don Barclay can get it together as well as Bakhtiari and Sitton, look out.

We are just getting started.

Hey, anyone else here thinkng "Did that really happen yesterday?"

So cool than they ripped BAL on their home turf. My hat is off to AJ Hawk and the rest of our Packers Defense. Wow. They completely ruled the day. Lattimore. Hyde. Raji. Burnett. Neal. Datone. A lot of incredible contributions.

I don't know there was really only 1 year with Philbin that was better than either of the years so far without him. Ever year before 2011 was similar offensively to last year and this year.

Me, too. I want to see the Packers' games well in hand by halftime. Save the hard-fought, suspenseful, back and forth "who's going to win this one?" games for teams I don't care about...

A win is a win is a win but ........ did this look like the Packer passing game was in rhythm? Not to me. I'm as thankful as anybody for Lacy and the enhanced ability to run, and I'll blame good defense and bad O Line play for the lack of rhythm, but just the same, I'd rather see a Packer blowout - about 400 yards and 4 TDs passing, maybe about 45 - 17 - but I'm happy just the same hahahahaha.

That will be this coming Sunday. Mark it down. Put it in the books.

Hey, I agree with you. If they could win every game without ever running I'd say go for it. The passing game was certainly out of rhythm, I just don't think its the running games fault. I agree on the good defense and bad pass blocking on the O-line.

Hey, would you look at that. TPB and I agreeing on something. That's either a sign of good things to come or we should all look to the skies with a little more diligence. Its all good though, we always agreed on the most important part. Packers winning.

that goal line stand was a thing of beauty and obviously one of the keys of the game.

Hyde looked good on the punt returns as well.

They did wear down late in the game though. Keep that in mind, the next time Aaron goes into no-huddle.

not sold on hyde for a punt returner - I mean he looked good in that one run - but to me he looks a bit skinny and can he hang onto the ball I Got to wonder

Do you have an evidence that makes you think he cannot hold onto the ball?

Apparently House came out because he was getting gassed by being the gunner on punt team. Which makes sense I guess you don't want a tired DB out there trying to cover Jacoby Jones or Torrey Smith. The way House has been playing he should probably be earning snaps over Tramon on defense. Maybe they need to find someone else to be the gunner.

Why over Tramon? Tramon has played well too. I just do not like when we play a zone in the secondary. I think our corners are talented enough to play man with just about any receiving core in the league. It seems like receivers always find holes in our zone, and it ends up allowing big plays.

Because Shields has been taking the tougher assignments this year and Tramon still plays soft when he's doing anything but covering somebody 1 on 1. If House earns any starter reps in the secondary Tramon atm is the weakest link.
