No thanks.

Packers are currently #4 in rushing yards per game as a team.

No way would I make that trade. I'm more than happy with our current RB situation. Lacy is in his first year and already very productive - a couple years of experience should make him nothing but better. AP is good, but the clock is ticking for him. I would rather stay young if we can run the ball like we have been.

Before the season I saw an article about RB mileage. Count every carry as a touch and every 3 receptions as a touch, and RB's go seriously downhill after 2100. In the last 30 years, only 2 backs have bucked that trend...Emmit Smith and Walter Payton, neither of whom ever had injury issues. Peterson is scheduled to hit that mark around this point if he hasn't already. Based on that alone I wouldn't make that trade.

Add that to the salary cap issue and I wouldn't make the trade for draft picks. Neither would TT,

A question for steveishere. You can be forgiven (barely) for your initial opinion on this subject but since it has been brought up again what say you now?

My answer is still no and I doubt anyone who voted no the first time around has changed their mind.

Maybe he's only got a few good years left but he's a hall of fame caliber player and based on the beating Lacy took this year I'm not too sure how long he'll be around anyways.

Mucky Tundra (4-Apr) : Gotta imagine that Green Bay vs Houston will be a primetime game this upcoming season
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
beast (3-Apr) : Using Patterson as RB and RB/WR tweener... so I think they also signed Patterson as a 3rd down RB, not just a kick returner as articles are
beast (3-Apr) : I think PFT missed the real Steelers/Patterson connection, Steelers new OC Arthur Smith has been Patterson's head coach the last 3 years
wpr (2-Apr) : It has Martha. I was stunned when I was in HS to learn Iowa was still playing half court BB in the 70's.
