They didn't beat us by as much as people think in the playoffs last year.

This time, it's at our house. And Kaepernick has come down to earth a bit.

It's gonna be tough, but recall: Our defense made some stops yesterday.

Arizona had almost 500 yards offense yesterday against the 49ers, including 400 yds passing.

Our D isn't as good, but our Offense is better. My biggest concern is we're down so many guys (16 on IR--and that's not including guys like CM3 who are injured and not on IR).

IMO, the biggest concern is can our D stop their running game. If not, our Offense could be on the sideline a lot.

Give Aaron Rodgers another week to shake off the rust, and we'll see.

It's time to start another streak of three ... W's this time.

We won the playoff game in '01. Also, Jerry Rice fumbled. That is all.

I already can't wait until Sunday! I think the Packers have a chance. The defense needs to play better than they did yesterday obviously.

Ha, me too. I grew up in St. Louis and lived there at the time. That one was painful.

My dad was at the game in his company's box and Missouri senator Kit Bond tried to start a fight with him. Kit was giving him shit all game so my dad responded that it was really great that the St. Louis Rams as an organization poured forth their support and resources to make sure a murderer stayed on the street (Leonard Little); that most organizations wouldn't have the conviction or the loyalty to do the same. Well Kit Bond liked dealing shit but couldn't take any thrown back his way so he just lost it and started flailing wildly at my dad and had to be restrained.

It's gonna be hard, but I'm glad the Niners have to come to OUR house!
We will see if they can withstand the fans, the weather, and the PACKERS!

Worried about our defense stepping up in this game especially the linebackers. We will have to lock down Crabtree and Boldin. This is VERY hard for even a good defense. They will test our line backers and nickel defense big time on the inside. Time of possession will be as big of an emphasis as it was in the Bears and when we get in the red zone we HAVE to score touchdowns or we definitely won't stand a chance.

Dom Capers failed in his gameplan week 1. He'll have to do better this week.

If the players execute properly, that will make a HUGE difference. Not making the tackle, or being out of your position has cost the Pack many times this year.
Discipline and know your assignments.

Plain and simple: Raji and Pickett have to elevate their game out of suckage and earn their contracts. I can't believe how those fat bastards get manhandled so easily by mediocre offensive lineman.

I actually think we have a good chance to make a run. First up is SF and they struggled with the Cards and Falcons in their last 2 games. Seattle isn't as unbeatable as the media makes them out to be, they got beat by the Cards and remember when the Bucs had them down 21 at the half in Seattle. Carolina is the team that worries me the most, they pretty much shut Brees down the best you can twice this year and they are a physical team. But then again their offense isn't alot to be scared of.

I like our chances this week if Lacy is healthy. Cobb will be the x factor

I completely agree. However, tough as Carolina is, I think they choke/stumble against the Saints. It's tough to beat a team 3 times.

Question: if the Packers beat S.F. and Seattle, and then play New Orleans in the NFC finals, do we, a division champion, get home field? Or them with a better record?
