2. This is not a Super Bowl contending team.
3. I swear, the only way the Packers D would play well between the hashmarks would be if the Competition Committee moved the hashmarks to about 2 feet apart and required NT/ILB/S to play between them at all times.
3a. And even then Brad Jones and Morgan Burnett would take bad angles and miss tackles.
4. I was correct when I thought giving Brad Jones a big contract was dumb.
5. I was correct when I objected to the draft of Nick Perry.
6. I will be seriously pissed if BJ Raji gets more than the vet minimum.
7. It might be time to let one of my favorite players, Ryan Pickett, go, too. Sad
8. Was it me, or were there huge gaps between the three DL whenever Kaepernick got the big runs?
9. Even *I* knew they were going to run Cobb on that play at the 9 yard line.

10. I was really wrong about Eddie Lacy. Woot

I am pretty much in agreement with the lines. We need better run blocking, better pass blocking on offense, along with better run and pass protection on defense, and in both cases it depends on the Lines.

I agree with Pickett probably not being back. Always have been a fan but his age is catching up. And I agree with Raji, I don't think he has played worth a big contract, he is not Ngata. If he wants a payday, he can go elsewhere to get it. But I think if we can keep him and keep him at NT, with Jolly and Daniels/Boyd along side him I think the line might be OK. I'm not sure if we have another player who could hold the nose.

On two of the big runs, One Bush let himself get blocked out of position when he bit on the pump fake, and another a DE got way upfield opening a huge hole lost lane responsibility. With mobile QB the rush needs to be controlled.
The world needs ditch diggers to Danny!!!

That's all well and good but Jones should have caught that pass. There were four big plays that I saw could have changed the outcome:
1) Getting the INT early in the last drive
2) Bahkitari's penalty that backed us up when it would have been 1st down on the 4. I saw both players hands on the others helmet so I don't get the call.
3) Jones catching that long ball. It was right in his hands.
4) Bush not getting the outside contain on that 3rd down play. Inexcusable to let the QB get around you there.

You have to make the big plays when they are there. These were four times it was right there in front of them and it didn't happen.
