How'd this fly under the radar?

Edit:

James Jones had two broken ribs

Quote:
James Jones wants to help the community, he wants a new contract to remain in Green Bay and he wanted to win in the playoffs badly. So badly in fact he played with more than just a hurt leg.

Turns out the veteran receiver broke two ribs in the Packers game against Pittsburgh Dec. 22 and was spitting up up blood the next day.

Well that article answered my question.

Well, good for him ...... is that gonna translate into a major hometown discount? I didn't think so hahahaha.

I see Boykin as a BETTER Wide Receiver than James Jones, so if the cost is anything substantial at all to re-sign Jones, I say let him go - similar to Greg Jennings.

Agreed. I generally like him, he is a tough S.O.B. but has always has the dropsies and if I'm not mistaken is now 30. We have to pay Jordy and Cobb soon, and like you said, Boykin seems like a younger version of James. I'd still love to have him back, but I really doubt the price will be right.

No NFL team wants Packers players because they do not perform in their system like they do in the Packers system.

Dude is a warrior who has shown he can be a #1. All Boykin has done is show he can be a possession guy. I bet Ted finds another WR gem in the 3rd this year.

Either way, JJ gets a good offer.

Jones doesn't even know what pain is! I argue with Texas daily, now that's fucking pain!!!!!!

Pretty cool Jones played through the injuries, and I hope he stays in Green Bay on a hometown deal. He learned his lesson a few years ago.

uffda udfa (8m) : Not harsh. Another failure and playoff embarrassment.
uffda udfa (8m) : Aaron cried a little when asked about Jordy playing today.
GoPack1984 (22m) : Dismal season? I think that's too harsh.
uffda udfa (23m) : Packers should have never been 4-6. Dismal season.
GoPack1984 (26m) : ...with the current defense.
GoPack1984 (26m) : Good season. Great rebound from 4-6. Would have loved to have seen them go to the Super Bowl and win, but I don't know if that was realistic
uffda udfa (32m) : •thanks Shakespeare.
The_Green_Ninja (41m) : Mike at the end of the day is with the team every day and knows what is needed and not needed. Don't be surprised if Mike helps push the cha

uffda udfa (48m) : It won't change until Ted is gone. I await that day with baited breath.
uffda udfa (49m) : Nobody has ever lost a championship game by as big of a margin as us. Title Town revolt.
uffda udfa (49m) : Did I hear wrong or was that the biggest beatdown in championship game history? Nice.
Nonstopdrivel (52m) : ndedly fill in all the holes on the roster.
Nonstopdrivel (59m) : I do get the same sort of complacent vibe from the Packers front office that cost Bill Polian his job. You can't rely on the QB to single-ha
The_Green_Ninja (1h) : Thomas Brady has been given tools his whole career. It's up to the Packers to start doing the same.
The_Green_Ninja (1h) : As much as I loved brett, Aaron is right. We need more tools and HE is the QB that deserves the tools
shield4life (1h) : & management
shield4life (1h) : Blame the coaching
The_Green_Ninja (1h) : This is near the same time Brett started saying the same stuff.
uffda udfa (1h) : That is exactly what Aaron is saying. We don't do what needs to be done to win. Same song over and over.
uffda udfa (1h) : Aaron is a troll and a hater and doesn't understand the game. Who is he to say such things?
Zero2Cool (1h) : Probably reading into it wrong, but I think he's saying to front office. Do. More!
Zero2Cool (1h) : Rodgers says "We just gotta make sure we're going all-in every year to win....we can take a big step this off-season"
uffda udfa (2h) : MM: We ran into a buzzsaw today. LOL. U came with no tools at all.

mojaveson (2h) : Kudos to the Falcons. I hope they win the Super Bowl.
uffda udfa (2h) : All credit to ATL. Not a word about needing to get better.
Zero2Cool (2h) : Ran out of talent, something we didn't have a plethora of on defense (my opinion)
uffda udfa (3h) : MM: Ran out of gas but proud of his guys.
