Quote: Over the past several weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles reportedly have begun to shop wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
A bad attitude, an inconsistent work ethic, missed meetings and a lack of chemistry with head coach Chip Kelly are the reasons, sources told NJ.com. And when the Eagles looked more deeply into why Jackson was missing meetings, they found that his friends were becoming a more powerful -- and negative -- influence in his life.
Now the Eagles have even more serious concerns -- Jackson's continued association with reputed Los Angeles street gang members who have been connected to two homicides since 2010.
linkI guess more teams are trying to move away from troubled players.

Ain't no gangs in Green Bay. I'm on record saying we don't need help at WR, but this guy is exceptional. It will never happen, but I wish the Packers would consider signing him to a cap friendly medium size deal. The slight risk connected to the possible gang thing is worth taking.

There are gangs every where. I heard there are 35,000 Crypts nationwide. If there are 2 kids to sell drugs to there will be at least 2 gangs represented in the community.
There are rival gangs in my town of 4000. Granted they may think they are tough but would wet themselves if the met up with the girls from intercity gangs little alone the guys.

I understand, I'm just saying playing in GB which is presumed to be gang-free in this thread doesn't mean he can't/won't be affiliated with a gang.
