This is unconfirmed and here are two tweets that somewhat contradict one another.

Granted, even if you have a torn ACL, you can still walk around, but why would you?

And Sir Jason Wilde has chimed in with good observation.

Seriously, they both were in with the doctors when Mike was holding the presser.

He had to tell the press 3 times he had not received an update.

Probably why it only lasted 5 minutes, they kinda pissed him off.

I'm not sure how Mike McCarthy is the blame for any injury, so if you could enlighten me, sure would help.

Hopefully the ACL report was just some reporter trying to scoop a story and got it all wrong.

We will all know soon enough,

I blame Ted Thompson for drafting these guys!!!!!

It's McCarthy's fault for not practicing ghost magic... Or something.

I think Nerd is joking otherwise I am a bit concerned. In any case, plenty of players are hurting their knees in the pre-season. Stuff like this will continue to rise the more the NFL fucks up the off-season and its practice schedules. In Jared's case, he needed conditioning anyway to continue to bulk up. He may have pushed himself too hard in the off-season, who knows. So many things are up in the air right now and we don't know if it is a tear yet. Could be but let's pray it's not for the kid's sake. He has undeniable talent.

A source told the Journal Sentinel that the diagnosis of the team's medical staff early Friday morning was a torn anterior cruciate ligament. The team was awaiting results of more diagnostic tests to confirm their original finding.

No bueno for the return game, and I think Cobb got a little more pricey if true.

The best thing for Abrederis is a year in the weight room, even if it is at the cost of an ACL injury.

Is it the same ACL he tore in High School?

According to http://www.biggerfasterstronger...ploads2/12_MarApr_14.pdf he "suffered a torn ACL in addition to breaking off the end of his femur. Head football and strength coach Dennis Moon says the injury was so severe that the doctors didn’t know if he would ever play football again. "

Oh well at least it happened early. He probably wasnt going to do much this year anyway. Now he gets a red shirt year to bulk up and be more prepared. Also gives a shot to Janis or another of our 2nd year guys. Lol at firing the head coach cause a guy that gets hurt a lot got hurt.

These injuries are THE BIGGEST obstacle keeping us from winning world championships.

Mike has FAILED to protect his players. No accountability for the training staff. No accountability for the defensive staff. Continued lulls on offense.

He's NOT getting it done.

Zero2Cool (6h) : Zone defenses always must answer this question: is it better to invest in top CBs, or better to invest in pass rushers who can make a CB’s job easier?

TheKanataThrilla (14h) : During the afternoons I tend to get caught up in family routines. I don't mind that for the later rounds.
TheKanataThrilla (14h) : I now take Friday off work. It is a bit annoying, but I do find it fun at night as I can crack a few beers and enjoy. Sucks if they trade out of the first round though.
wpr (22h) : I liked the Sat Sun version.
beast (23-Apr) : HELL YEAH! ... the draft was SOOOO MUCH BETTER in the ol Saturday/Sunday format... only people that I've heard disagree are those that don't really follow the draft and just random get updates on thei
beast (23-Apr) : Key word there is "proven"... not if they're true, but if you can prove it. Jerry Jones said the same thing for Greg Hardy, it wasn't "proven".
Zero2Cool (23-Apr) : Flat out honesty from 49ers GM
Zero2Cool (23-Apr) : John Lynch: “if these charges are proven true, if Reuben did hit this young lady, he won’t be part of our organization moving forward.”

Smokey (22-Apr) : Zero, please post the new 2018 Packers Schedule. Thank You

Smokey (19-Apr) : Who is HBO's 2018 "Hard Knocks" team ?
Zero2Cool (17-Apr) : Jimmy Graham on choosing Packers -- Why Green Bay instead of New Orleans? "#12 is hungry
DarkaneRules (17-Apr) : When he talked about missing guys he didn't mentioned Greg Jennings :)
