Rob Demovsky said: GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Contrary to what even he thought, Green Bay Packers quarterback Scott Tolzien still has practice-squad eligibility.
The NFL office confirmed that on Wednesday, and it has nothing to do with the changes that went into effect last week.
The part of the rule that applies to Tolzien states, in part, that "a player who has earned one or more accrued seasons would not be eligible for a practice squad unless the player spent fewer than nine games on a club's 46-player active list in each of his accrued seasons.
Well this is some good information.
Just don't think Tolzien would clear waivers, he has looked pretty good the last couple of weeks, would be a huge risk hoping he makes it through.
I still say keep all 3.

[aiee] Shocked.
It is a good thing I don't bet. I was 100% certain he had no eligibility left.
I stand corrected.
And still I expect them to keep all 3.
