Packers cornerback Sam Shields was covering Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant on his infamous overruled catch when their teams met in the playoffs. At the time, Shields said the ref made a good call in reversing the catch. Now Shields admits that's not how he saw it. Shields told ESPN that he believes Bryant did catch...

If the Seahawks would have taken this attitude in the wake of the Fail Mary, I would actually have respect for them. But I don't. Fuck them.

And fuck Mike for pulling our pants down and letting those assholes spank us like bitches.

It is really not an issue of catch or not, it is an issue of completed pass or not. A catch by rule is not a completed pass. If a pass is thrown and the WR catches the ball, but does not get two feet in bounds, the catch is also not a completion. Catching the ball is only one requirement of a completed pass.

As for Dez Bryant.
A: if the ball ever touches the ground, incomplete, period.
B: he took at least two steps with the ball and then the ball hit the ground and was dislodged therefore it is a fumble.

If he had taken one step, ball hit ground and dislodged, I say it is incomplete. Since he took more than two steps and then the ball came out, I think it should be a fumble and Cowboys ball on the 1 yard line because I don't think the player who fumbles can advance the ball. Maybe that's only within 2 minutes? Whatever that rule is, the ball is Cowboys on the 1 yard line or it is touchdown.

I still think the Packers would have marched down the field and won the game regardless.
