Some validity in what he says. But hang with me because I believe it's deeper than fear etc. This all started back after the NFC title loss..it crushed this team spiritually.Right after that Mike McCarthy brother dies a tragic early death.

The man hasn't been emotionally vested since then. Grows a beard just like his brother and wears it through camp... says f*** it and hands over play calling and game planning to Bennett and Clements. Just a bunch of out of character stuff. With those moves he takes his WR and QB and coach's them together .... those position groups need separate coaching.

So now your QB who like all QB is the hot shot in the room with his WR. His OC/Asst HC Clements are buddies and Aaron gets whatever game plan he wants. Bad juju

Looks great through 6 games..off week they all relax and BOOM ! Denver with a stud defense make's Mr Rodgers and his merry men look like the Green bay park and rec runner up team. Teams study that tape and the Chargers tape and have things figured out.

Enter Mike McCarthy whom I believe got some heat from above. ( The dude doesn't get a revelation sipping his coffee "hell I better demote my OC and take over play calling") at any rate he now has to undo ALL that fast talking about Clements and company being more than ready..it's time blah blah. All BS folks

This has lasting effects regardless of what they poop out the PR machine. Would you work as hard for a boss who cut your knees out from under you ? (Clements and Bennett) Would you trust a coach you play for that has said one thing and done another time after time?

EXAMPLE : ( Goes out in public on Myles White says "he earned a shot at this team" Best camp yet" But goes out and gets Jones and cuts White ? Players remember that type of thing)

So you have a coach who wasn't and still may not be emotionally vested. A few coach's who say F*** it I got screwed I am going through the motions. A QB who's buddy isn't calling the shots anymore and is getting pounded week in and out and I suspect some players that never really respected the aforementioned coach from day 1.

So I think Chumra ( Butler last night) as former players sniff that things in that locker room stink. I concur with my theory above.

I stopped caring what Chmura thinks after his little hot tub altercation with the next door babysitter.

We need to completely gut the coaching staff and let the knew head coach bring in whomever he wants. Too much talent and opportunity has been wasted, and that accountability falls on the head coach.

Let the heads roll.

I don't know that the players have to fear the coach but they absolutely have to respect him. Fear without respect won't get you much. In this day and age fear is pretty hard to create. Within a few years a player is independently wealthy. On top of that there's free agency, teams don't "own" player as they did years ago. With that I'll say I've always thought our assistant coaches as a whole were below average or maybe at best average.

Lombardi had fear and respect, but he also had the admiration of his player, he was principled, had high character, a high work ethic, understood human nature and behavior, etc. etc.

I've heard alot of McCarthy needs to get fired talked with very little talk of better alternatives. The only 2 coaches I can recall being asked for by name are Tom Coughlin and Sean Payton.

Tom Coughlin: 12 years with Giants 5 playoff appearances and 2 super bowls.

Sean Payton: 9 years with Saints 5 playoff appearances and 1 super bowl.

Mike McCarthy: 10 years with Packers 8 playoff appearances and 1 super bowl.

The grass is always greener on the other side. I agree that this year has been a disappointment up to this point and some type of dysfunction is present. However I urge all to be careful what you wish for.

I would bet any number of coaches could produce equally with that amount of offensive talent.

Mucky Tundra (13h) : Based on Gutes comments, now I don't feel as silly having 13 picks in my mock the other day
Zero2Cool (15h) : Zach Wilson to Broncos.
Zero2Cool (17h) : Gutekunst says he'd love to have 13 or 14 picks. He's trading back huh lol
beast (19h) : Someday we'll have a draft betting scandal
beast (21-Apr) : Sometimes looking extremely amazing, sometimes looking extremely lost
beast (21-Apr) : I haven't looked into the QBs, but some have suggested Maye has some of the most extremely inconsistent tape they've seen
beast (21-Apr) : Well it also sounds like Patriots are listening to trade offers, not that seriously considering any, but listening means they aren't locked
Zero2Cool (21-Apr) : Maye needs to be AFC
Mucky Tundra (21-Apr) : Not liking the idea of the Vikings getting Maye
Zero2Cool (21-Apr) : Vikings HC joked that he may or may not have sent flowers to Bob Kraft. That's where rumor came from.
beast (21-Apr) : Can't tell if this is real or BS, but some rumors about a possible Patriots/Vikings trade for #3 overall
dfosterf (21-Apr) : One playbook to my knowledge. I was shooting for facetious.
beast (20-Apr) : I'm not sure they have different playbooks for different OL positions, and Dillard run blocking is supposedly worse than his pass blocking..
dfosterf (19-Apr) : The only problem with that is he isn't a guard either.
dfosterf (19-Apr) : Put him at right guard. That is where he will be coached. That is where he will compete. He is not even allowed to look at the LT playbook.
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Kidding aside, I hope the best for him.
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Went to a Titans board. One comment there. Not very long. I quote: "LOL" They don't sound overly upset about our aquisition.
beast (18-Apr) : OT Dillard has been absolutely horrible... like OG Newman levels
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Suit him up and have him stand in front of the big board as a draft day cautionary tale.
Zero2Cool (18-Apr) : Packers sign T Andre Dillard.
Mucky Tundra (18-Apr) : Adds most of the information this time of year comes from agents.
Mucky Tundra (18-Apr) : @RealAlexBarth Bill Belichick says accurate draft information doesn't leak from teams until about 12 hours before the draft. Adds most of th

Zero2Cool (17-Apr) : Belichick * whatever

Martha Careful (16-Apr) : Congratulations
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Boom. Student Loan. $0.00. Only took about 20 years.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : Packers DT Kenny Clark: New defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley will 'allow us to be way more disruptive'
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : Saints have agreed to terms on a contract with former Packers wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown.

Mucky Tundra (12-Apr) : Draft is still 2 weeks away. UGH
dhazer (11-Apr) : Does anyone know of a good AI generator to create letters of Support for legislation?
Zero2Cool (11-Apr) : Gordon "Red" Batty retires as equipment manager
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Sounds like that's pretty certain now.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Packers "at" Eagles in Brazil. Week One
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Va' Fazer As Malas Va' !
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy tipping us off?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : “We’re either the first- or second-most popular team in Brazil.”
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Christian Watson got married. Wife better be careful with those hamstrings!! 😂😂
dfosterf (9-Apr) : Those poor bastards
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Falcons have signed former Packers CB Kevin King, who has been out of football since 2021.
dfosterf (8-Apr) : Collectively, we need to spend more time in what we have, when analyzing ostendible needs and historical proclivities
dfosterf (8-Apr) : I say he is better than so many of these draft picks
dfosterf (8-Apr) : Question of the week for me: Has anyone besides me done any deep dive into the potential of Alex McGough, our 3rd string qb?
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Or in Tunsil's case, something gets released day of draft or day before lol
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Seems every year someone does something pre-draft.
dfosterf (8-Apr) : Falling down drunk. The draft board
