Some of the individual players have already been called out but the run defense deserves a shoutout. That's another game allowing less than three yards a carry. Impressive especially considering how thin we are on the defensive line at the moment and the inexperience at linebacker.

Thinking about it and listening to Gary Ellerson on the post game show, I think this game was much better than it seems. Trevor Davis makes that catch on that deep route, and that's the dagger right there. I chalk that up to being a rookie.

This game was a more solid victory than it seems. Defense gutted it out, even with third stringers and rookies.

I was praising the defense all of last year and so far this year. Still extremely concerned with this team's penchant for allowing a single receiver to have a career game most weeks. Overall they're doing well but really need to improve on third and long and cut down on some of those deep completions. We're consistently making opponents' run games a non-factor, but would be nice to see us to control the passing game better.

I was at the game. You could definitely feel the tension in the crowd. The middle sections would hardly make any noise against the Lions when they had the ball on offense. End zones did well though. The Packers need to adjust their promo to say: "Get Loud Lambeau!... Please?"

We dealt with a lot of adversity yesterday, although at first glance it may not have seemed like it. On defense, there were a lot of guys having to move in and out primarily due to injuries. There was some confusion a few times. Josh Hawkins had no help whatsoever when he was beat on the back shoulder. In his other snaps he played well. He'll learn from that play, but there should have been help. Randall fell down on that other touchdown pass. I could feel the air leave Lambeau. Some fans were already asking to cut him. Come on people.

2nd half was all about Lacy. I could have used a couple more carries even and some guys need to learn how to stay in bounds! Without a key holding penalty and a couple drops, that Lions comeback would have been a lot less stressful. Good news is we fielded a very young team yesterday and we were able to get them experience along with a win. This will bode well for the future.

Hmm maybe it's semantics but sealing the deal seemed to be exactly what they did...

Martha Careful (10h) : *game plan
Martha Careful (11h) : IMHO, not even close. He is not a guy you game play around.
Mucky Tundra (13h) : is Aiyuk worth a 1st rounder?
Zero2Cool (14h) : 49ers are seeking a 1st round pick in exchange for WR Brandon Aiyuk
Mucky Tundra (22-Apr) : Based on Gutes comments, now I don't feel as silly having 13 picks in my mock the other day

Zero2Cool (21-Apr) : Maye needs to be AFC
Mucky Tundra (21-Apr) : Not liking the idea of the Vikings getting Maye
Zero2Cool (21-Apr) : Vikings HC joked that he may or may not have sent flowers to Bob Kraft. That's where rumor came from.

dfosterf (19-Apr) : The only problem with that is he isn't a guard either.
dfosterf (19-Apr) : Put him at right guard. That is where he will be coached. That is where he will compete. He is not even allowed to look at the LT playbook.
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Kidding aside, I hope the best for him.
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Went to a Titans board. One comment there. Not very long. I quote: "LOL" They don't sound overly upset about our aquisition.
beast (18-Apr) : OT Dillard has been absolutely horrible... like OG Newman levels
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Suit him up and have him stand in front of the big board as a draft day cautionary tale.
Zero2Cool (18-Apr) : Packers sign T Andre Dillard.
Mucky Tundra (18-Apr) : Adds most of the information this time of year comes from agents.
