Annnnd there it is.

Packers linebacker Clay Matthews has been fined $18,231 for roughing the passer in last Thursday's win over the Bears, per multiple reporters. Matthews led with the crown of his helmet on the hit that ended the season of Bears quarterback Brian Hoyer, who broke his left arm. Matthews is battling a hamstring injury and trying...

I think it was a punk move by Clay and he deserves the fine. Trying to cling on to career that is fading quickly. He certainly isn't worth the money the Packers put in his bank account weekly.

NFL probably wouldn't of fined Matthews if the QB didn't get hurt. Those hit happen all the time and the NFL normally doesn't do a damn thing... unless someone is injured or if the a team or media are bringing it to the meida attention.

I believe that is the way some teach how to tackle. That's one of the ways to bring the most force into your tackles, and NFL normally doesn't seem to fine guys for that type of tackle unless it gets extra attention for some reason.

And just because the NFL does something, that doesn't mean anything. I still remember the NFL STUPIDLY apologizing to the Vikings for ref getting the WR Harvin's catch wrong (When CLEARLY the ref was right on that one)... as the ball CLEARLY hit the ground and the ball didn't come off the ground like Harvin's went down with the ball, so CLEARLY the ball had moved while on the ground.

Making that STUPID move even stupider, was that Quarless earned a touchdown by catching a ball outside the endzone.... and the NFL never said a damn thing about the refs getting that play wrong. But the Vikings owner was livid about the Harvin play... so the NFL played kiss ass and through the ref under the bus, when the ref was right on that call... (which is sad, because they easy could of pointed out the ref was right on that play and wrong on the Quarless play, but that would take extra work of doing your job correctly)

In other words, the NFL isn't doing what's correct, the NFL is doing what it thinks it has to to keep the NFL owners happy... that's it. So QB got injured... of course you got to look at it and try to fine the player for the hit to try to keep the owners happy.

What I've said about you, stands and is confirmed. You go extreme against the Packers because of your delusional perception of fans who God forbid root for their team and find positives instead of manifest things to bitch about. You whine about the Packers more than opposing fans. It's pathetic.

More of your ignorant delusion here too. I never said you created the thread, I said I did not create it because I wanted you to have the opportunity to do so. Follow along young man, follow along.

Is it delusional to call McCarthy a retard for continuously getting stuffed on short yardage downs because he has no imagination and thinks his pass blockers instantaneously become road graders on 4th and 1. Or how about calling out Ted Thompson for not successfully addressing the TE position. What is it now, year 4. And of course dogging Eddie Lacy for never being shape and getting hurt all the time because of it is being a horrible fan.

You're right, people like you are better Packers fans than I am. ๐Ÿ™„

When you're not displaying your insecurities of others being less/more than you, you can be a pretty good dude. Unfortunately, you display your insecurities often. All People Matter. Even keyboard warrior tough guys.

You're going to bag on Eddie Lacy now? That's a new one because he hasn't even inked a 2nd year contract, oh wait, fans like him so you have to equal things out. Got it. Personally, I couldn't give a damn if a player is over this weight or under that weight as long as they are healthy and productive. I try not to worry myself about other MEN's weight. That's just me. All we need from the running back is to not get tackled for loss (he does), don't get Aaron killed, he doesn't and to move the chains on 3rd down, he did when given the chance. Lacy averaged 5.1 yards this season before going on injured reserve. The man has heart and put that shit on the field. If you can't respect that, well hey.
