I'm thinkin the reason he signed with GB, was because of the potential to go to the SB. Now with that dream is out the window...........

A little disappointing as if we knew this I am pretty sure this would have impacted how we negotiated with Jared Cook.

Like Z said...it appears he already retired. We all thought we were getting an upgrade over Cook. Got a downgrade from Richard Rodgers. Waste of millions in hindsight.

Put TE down as yet another pressing draft need.

Say what you will , Bennett is honest enough to tell everyone . It will give the team important time to factor this into the future . Until them he may be very important to Hundley this season .

Just shows the crapshoot that is Free Agency. What looked like a great move a few short months ago might bite us in the rear next year as we will have to find a replacement as well as eat over 4 million in dead cap.

The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

The way he has been playing I can see why he wants to retire. Hope he does and the Packers draft Troy Fumagalli..this kid is always making plays.Watch a few Badger games and when a clutch conversion is needed this kid answers the bell.

Hey, if we had the benefit of hindsight we could all be NFL GMs. Also, zero guarantee Cook would have had the same success in GB that he's having now.
