If you question this whole search was a sham give me a list of all the external candidates the Packers interviewed................................................................................ No one.

They requested permission of GMs they knew they wouldn't get permission to interview to keep up appearances.

Where's that DeCosta and Whaley interview? Better comply with the Rooney Rule. Where's your minority interviewee?
Mike McCarthy must've decided to live with not going for Championships for personal reasons. Not enthused we have a coach who is disgruntled and a FO not concerned with rings.

I think DW is a Rooney Rule only candidate.

Reading all the tea leaves, it sure seems like they are keep Ball, but I think its a Pres in Waiting roll. I really believe they would like Schneider and are quietly pursuing a trade.

Otherwise, I still believe its more likely to see G or W for GM.

DeCosta has been turning down every single interview from every team, saying that he doesn't want to leave Baltimore... so don't be surprised if that happens again.

Gutekunst interviews tomorrow to be GM of Texans. Highsmith already left and we can't interview one external candidate with our Nationwide search? Sham from the outset.
