First road game in Seattle since the NFC Championship game. Gee, I wonder what they'll talk about endlessly during the pre-game and constantly reference during the game itself. The Fail Mary or the Bostick onside kick?

IMO, based upon last season, GB could be facing their toughest schedule in many years. This could be a blessing in disguise as it will require the Packers to elevate their play and continue to improve at a greater pace than in most past seasons. Good health, better coaching, and some luck should carry the 2018 Packers to the NFC Championship over the Rams and on to SB53 against either the Steelers or the Patriots.

Go Pack Go !

Sorry, but SB43 already happened 9 years ago.

IMO, knowing this early who you will be facing next season gives the players, coaches, and management more time to get prepared. A dominate GB season over this schedule will have the playoff teams scared.

Sometimes blessings come in unforeseen ways.

What are the odds that the Falcons end up 3rd in their division with a 10-6 record. It's like we're just meant to play them.

Looking at this schedule, it just amazes me how much better the NFC currently is than the AFC on paper.

There were just 6 teams under .500 last year. One of them was us, with Rodgers being out, and another where the 49ers, who went on a crazy winning streak as soon as Jimmy G started at QB. You barely have any easy match-ups in the NFC.

And it really shows in our schedule.

We're obviously playing 12 games against NFC opponents... And only three I'd say should be games you win 95/100 times... Two of those are the Bears.

What's really interesting is that the NFC South sent three teams to the playoffs, and somehow none of them made it past the Divisional Round!

With this schedule, GB's Defense will need to be "Road Warriors". The Offense, with Rodgers at QB, should be a top 6 rated team. They can be so feared if play improves at the CB and DE's. That will require some well thought out personal changes for the 2018 Defensive roster.

Two Cents

Personal and yes personnel too will require some changes. Neither are perfect, but none of us are.

Cool

Looking at the Packer's 2018 Regular Season schedule, I have picked what I believe will be their toughest Home and Away Games.

The 49ers will travel to Lambeau in 2018 to play the Packers. They are going to be a very aggressive opponent. Their QB is very sharp and their Defense is going to be stingy. This contest will, IMO, be GB's toughest Home Game.

The Packers will have to travel to Foxboro to play the Patriots. The Patriots play tough on their home field. This contest will, IMO, be GB's toughest Away Game.

GB will need every man on their 53 man roster in 2018, a very tough schedule.

BG is also aware of the schedule and IMO is/will be doing his best to stock GB's roster with needed players. He could not have picked a rougher schedule to face in his first year as GM, but so far he has done well !

ya the away games this year look pretty tough ... Ill be interested to see how the rams defense does this year. Su and Donald and then their corners ... Seahawks have been messed with as far as players leaving etc dont think they will be the same team but the pats and vikings will be plenty tough.

I can't believe we get that much worse with the losses of Jordy, Morgan and Randall. The coaching staff is greatly improved and we still have plenty of time and options to fill the holes

IMO, it's a bit early to make W/L predictions, but I respect your post just the same.

I look at the upcoming schedule and see teams with great Offenses and great Defenses. I also see teams that might compete for their Conference Championships. With such a challenging season ahead, GB will need to be strong across the board or opposing teams will target the smallest weakness.

That said, BG is doing a good job so far as GB's new GM. ThumpUp
