Sign him on a two year deal that has a team opt out clause in it. Then if he lights it up, he can get the incentives in the contract and the Packers can point to his signing as to why they won the Super Bowl. This shit is easy.

The Eagles have shown what you can do with a dominant D line. I would love this move. He was a Pro Bowler under Pettine. Playing for the f---ing Jets would demotivate almost anyone. Wilkerson, Clark, and Daniels gets me worked up.

If you are on a crappy team, with no hope of getting to a super bowl, it HAS to be hard to be motivated.
With strong guys around him, pushing him, showing how to give 100% every play, he might just turn out to be a big shot in the arm for us.

Wilkerson played under Pettine in 11 and 12, and was good and then real good; then he really took off in ’13. In ’15 Wilkerson, as part of the Sons of Anarchy [WilkerSON, Snacks HarriSON, and RichardSON] had one of the historically great seasons for a DLman. 7 PD, 3FF, caused a half dozen INTs, almost 100 pressures [Hits, hurries, sacks], would have had them if he played the entire game #16.

He played ’16 and ’17 under the big contract and his play suffered. Some talk of attitude issues. But, 2 other things happened; (1) He has not playing between the other 2 Sons of Anarchy and; (2) he never fully recovered from a broken fibula suffered on the last game of 2015. This guy has some miles on the legs as well, when he’s playing he plays about 95% of the snaps and another 15% of the ST snaps and he hasn’t missed much time. Starts in 2011 to ‘17= 16,15,16,13,15,14,12. In addition to the attitude issues; after considering his age, his wear and tear and failure to fully recover from the fibula, he’s a peanuts guy [2-3M guy with incentives]. If he signs a peanuts deal, it wont be for any more than 1 year.
