Heh. I remember you specifically saying that we'd win it in '09.

I may be wrong, but I don't think we can steal him unless he's getting a promotion. DC to DC would be lateral, so I don't think we could do that.

I think you are right - they'd have to throw in a title like assistant head coach to make it a promotion.

I agree with those that don't think Mike McCarthy should be let go this year, I'm not as high on him as last year - but I think he needs one more year for sure. Because of that - I won't even speculate.

Wow, I do like the idea of Schotenheimer...had a 14-2 season a few years back, and then gets the boot. I don't understand that. Don't we have someone named Kurt Schotenheimer on our coaching staff? I forget what he does exactly, but back to my point, I'm sure he's related to him. He could possibly drift him this way.

He was fired @ San Diego because he didn't get along w/ the GM. He was fired from Washington because Snyder's insane and woefully impatient*. The Chiefs deal was where he couldn't get past the first round of the playoffs.

I think Schott's a good head coach, but I would want to see some major O and D coordinators in there as well. Marty's a true HC - great, old school, a motivator, but I want serious football minds @ the coordinator spots if he's the coach.

*and for those who love to yell "fire him!" the first time the bloom falls off the rose, how many championships have the Redskins won lately?

I like him as well, however, his play calling when the game is on the line is terrible. When you look in the dictionary under "Playing not to lose." you see a picture of Marty Schottenheimer, and Paul Hackett. I have never seen so many screen passes on 3rd and 15.

Well a new name is available and that is Shannahan he loves to run the ball and seems like he can pull rbs out of his ass.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I see him begging to get a certain QB back, he seems to be pretty obsessed with the man. :p

I do like him as a coach though, and I don't see why he isn't asked to play anywhere yet. Washington last year for instance would be great, but they took a gamble on a rookie. Maybe another West-coast team looking for a new coach should pick him up.

As for the Packers, stick with Mr. McCarthy for a while.

beast (5-Apr) : The 25th pick in the draft has been an offensive player since 2017, 2 TE, 2 WR, 1 RB, 1 OC

Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
beast (3-Apr) : Using Patterson as RB and RB/WR tweener... so I think they also signed Patterson as a 3rd down RB, not just a kick returner as articles are
