Well i can see them taking Sanchez at #12 but i don't see them trading up to get him, they have tons of holes to fill so i see them going defense with the 1st pick because their defense sucked worse than ours.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Anyone think that we could get 12 AND 18 if we threw in our second rounder???

We might be able to nab Andre Smith AND Everette Brown if the chips laid out perfectly!

Or Smith and English! :)

I would love a trade that moved us from 9 to 12 and gave us decent value.

I actually think this was a dumb move on the part of the Bears. This is the type of move that better bring SB results and this team isn't good enough.

They have an OL with four starters that have been in the league a combined FORTY FIVE years.

Urlacher is on year #10, Ogunleye 9, and A. Brown 8. The only good safety they had is gone.

The only real good D players left after that is Briggs and Harris and in a couple of years those two won't be spring chickens.

Losing all these draft picks to be able to replace these guys is going to hurt them badly over the next couple of years.

Cutler will sure make it interesting in '09 and it could mean great games between us and them but after that I think we will be b-slapping them for the next five years.

I believe Orton was the steak in the trade deal because Cleveland and Washington were willing to give up Quinn and Campbell (unsure of the draft picks included).
I forgot who said it on ESPN, but they mentioned that McDaniels had said he sees Matt Cassell in Kyle Orton. Now if that is true, he is in for a rude awakening. Anyways, I don't see Denver wanting to move down at all.

Ummmm, I think you can bank on it that if Cambell and Quinn were being offered the offer by either team wasn't even close to what the Bears gave up. I think you have to consider that Denver was probably not enamored in anyway by these two so they went with the one with all the picks.

That certainly doesn't mean they are set on Orton by any means.

The Bronco's wanted Orton over Campbell. It was already reported.

dfosterf (21h) : Put him at right guard. That is where he will be coached. That is where he will compete. He is not even allowed to look at the LT playbook.
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Kidding aside, I hope the best for him.

beast (18-Apr) : OT Dillard has been absolutely horrible... like OG Newman levels
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Suit him up and have him stand in front of the big board as a draft day cautionary tale.
Zero2Cool (18-Apr) : Packers sign T Andre Dillard.
Mucky Tundra (18-Apr) : Adds most of the information this time of year comes from agents.

beast (5-Apr) : Probably not going to let Diggs walk away unless he's horrible... but according to reports he also might not be as good as he used to be.
beast (5-Apr) : The 25th pick in the draft has been an offensive player since 2017, 2 TE, 2 WR, 1 RB, 1 OC

Zero2Cool (4-Apr) : The 25th pick in the draft hasn't been made by it's original holder since 2016.
Mucky Tundra (4-Apr) : Gotta imagine that Green Bay vs Houston will be a primetime game this upcoming season
