I thought it was an interesting angle that the offense could help Capers and the schemes by putting points up and allowing the defense to go after the QB more.

That is definately the recipe to whip teams like the Vikes because Childress will panic and start throwing the ball more than they should if they get down.

I also think the offense can control the ball more and stay on the field for longer periods of time more consistantly and that will help also. Grant will be important in this regard but also Rodgers having a year under his belt and being more in tune with his recievers will be big also. When you add the prospect of more production out of Jones, Nelson, and Finley, who can take advantage of the coverages to contain Driver and Jennings I can see an offense that will put pressure on other teams to put up a lot of points.

LTF might be able to answer this because i seen he posted on that discussion who the hell is Sutton at RB that i see alot saying should make the team at RB.

Also i saw a point that slipped my mind on Rodgers and that is the other teams will actually have game film to use to defend Rodgers so that could slow him down. I still don't see us putting up stats like the Saints and Pats as he states because of the schedule we play.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Who said anything about Saints or Pats? Can you show me the article, link and quote?

Did you know the last half of the season Rodgers had better numbers than 1st half? Sort of says game film didnt help those last 8 teams eh?

I'm with you on this train of thought, but you gotta bear in mind that defenses' previous years production means next to nothing when projecting their stoutness. (Just ask our defense...)

The Steelers and the Ravens are the only two that I could definitively say we'll have a real battle with. Tough, physical, squads like those are the kind I always see as able to push people around in our finesse-oriented scheme.

I think that if our o-line actually plays like professionals as opposed to last season's equivalent to a BLITZ 2000 video game crew, we should fare very well.

I will bet my left testicle that won't happen this year LTF lol. Seeing we have the likes of Baltimore and Pittsburgh in those games.

It might have been someone making a post that said we would match the Saints and Pats but i will double check. But have you heard of this Sutton they are commenting on?

No offense Dude, but anything to do with your left nut is not appealing (I think I'm speaking for all of us here), and from what I gather you're a young guy who might need it later.

I'm going to be at the Steeler game, so I'm going to have to either wear my Hawk jersey or pony up for a new Rodgers one.

dfosterf (19-Apr) : The only problem with that is he isn't a guard either.
dfosterf (19-Apr) : Put him at right guard. That is where he will be coached. That is where he will compete. He is not even allowed to look at the LT playbook.
