I do not look forward to a Favre v.s. Rodgers game.

If it happens, I feel Ted Thompson will regret ever chasing that hillbilly out of Green Bay.

Bottom line, Ted Thompson needs to make the playoffs this season, or his job is in jeopardy.

With talent such as Bill Cower, Mike Holmgren available for GM and coaching jobs, if we do not make the playoffs this season, I have seen enough of Ted Thompson supposed five year plan.

The Green Bay Packers need to make the playoffs, not Ted Thompson. Christ is that getting annoying. The Packers are FAR bigger than their GM, whomever it may be.

I beg to differ...........
Ted Thompson is responsible for the talent on the field, if the packers do not make the playoffs, it will reflect on the GM of the packers, and that person (TT)will have to take credit for his team and how they perform.

and back to back losing seasons, and an overall losing record over Ted Thompson tenure as GM, will be the testimonial of Ted Thompson career as GM of the Packers.

ok are you guys ready for this. I have watched the last video and the red carpet video and i was actually impressed with Rodgers. I just don't understand how he can be so good in some interviews and an ass in others.

Because often times people hear what they want to hear. Because people theorize as to Rodgers' intent or character as a person. Because usually in those cases peoples' instincts are, in fact, wrong.

(Basically everyone who got their panties in a twist about the Rodgers interview on Kampman failed to take into account a number of likely factors -- not the least of which was a little sarcasm at the beginning of the interview. But, oh well, I guess I'm just theorizing myself.)

Agreed. Also, he's human. Humans sometimes react negatively when placed in a stressful or uncomfortable position. You might as well say, "I just don't understand why every single poster here can be so good in some posts/threads and asses in others."

Well I make an ass of myself and lash out because sometimes I'm very tired and I can't handle the redundancy of the 6-10 or Ted Thompson sucks arguments. I think I'd rather listen to my mother-in-law tell me how to change the oil in my truck (and she will if you give her an inch) than read those posts.

Technically Zero is right. The Packers make the playoffs, not Ted Thompson.

I do agree with your main point though. If the Packers don't make the playoffs this year, Thompson and McCarthy go on the hot seat. I don't think either would lose their job though.
