What the hell is wrong with Spitz, lower back is pretty unspecific. Does he have a disc problem, nerve, muscle. Would like to have a better idea how bad off he really is.

As others said, good thing we just about our best depth a C. Wells can do the job, not a powerhouse in the run game, but he is a steady player and protects the pass pretty well.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

Looks like an interesting lineup lets hope the line can protect us from Bucs. Wells in the and Taus and Clifton on the edges looks better. Let's see if they can perform at a high level.

Spitz will be back next year. The year will be uncapped and Spitz will be a restricted free agent. GB will tender him and nobody will sign him to an offer sheet mostly due to compensation, but I'm sure this doesn't help.

Wells as the starting center is not something I'm crazy about. He's all the Pack have right now, but I feel like Spitz was a better player.

The good news, Spitz can get it done.

Maybe we can revert to preseason form!

Our first starter to suffer a season-ending injury. At least we have one of our better backups at this position.

Wells is a try hard player.. can't question his effort. Between him and Spitz, I would rather have Spitz, but calling upon Wells. Things could be worse.

Bigger concern.. we now are depleted inside, Lang or Smith would be forced to action inside with an injury.

Depth on the oline has been a concern all season.. first at tackle, with injury now inside. The trials of a 53 man roster.

The old injury bug is rearing it's ugly head again this year.
I was hoping for a little luck this year withregard to injuries.

 Wouldn't be too sure about Spitz's comeback as LOWER back problems are seldom permanently resolved. Believe there is one more C/G available besides Wells. Once again McCarthy faces an "O" line round table.

yoop, I think we've actually got off pretty lightly so far. I never had much hope that Clifton would last and apar from him Spitz is our first starter to be out long term (+Blackmon).

Obviously Finley and Nelson are being missed, but I would think looking at the league as a whole we're not doing too badly.

I was questioning 'in my head' about these back spasms he was having ... I deal with disc bulges everyday at work and I cant see many back spasms happening over an extended period of time without a significant type of injury such as a disc bulge.

I just hope he sees a good chiropractor before some surgeon doing him.

If he doesnt have a good chiro - I should come work for the pack ... now there would be a fun job.
