Porky.....i don't want to wait that long. Mike McCarthy has shown he lost this team. We need SOMEONE who will come in and call out his guys for making the same damn screw ups week after week.
I don't want anymore excuses. He can't get it done, period.

I won't stop being a Packer fan, but i can't call a turd a rose. I never look through "Green and Gold" glasses. I believe in being honest in all my posts.

With Capers having proven that he's not that great a HC, we'd most likely promote Winston Moss or some other low key guy and have him as our interim coach.

I don't think that firing anyone right now will help us. Not with the position coaches we have on the roster. Or the coordinators for that matter.

Or you should want Kevin Greene to become our HC after just 8 games of coaching experience.

Realistically, McCarthy is going no where in the middle of a season. Plus, in season coaching changes never work. They just don't. It could do more harm than good. Suck it up this year and move on after wards assuming the team wins six or seven games.

Could K. Greene do any worse then MM?
Plus i see Greene as a more firey guy. We OBVIOUSLY need someone to jar these players into working for their pay.

Gruden might be able to work midseason. Even though we haven't looked like a WCO this season, I'm sure the quick hits are still in the playbook. A philosophy change is what's needed, not necessarily a system. Of course, I'd like to think Mike McCarthy is smart enough to change his gameplan, but he's shown this year that he's too stubborn, and the Packers are going to go for everything when Aaron drops back to pass. Plus, I'd like to think a midseason move would show the players that the organization will hold people accountable for substandard performance.

I like the holding people accountable thing. It doesn't seem like the organization does any of this. There's always blame to be passed around but where does it go? It's being juggled like a hot potato.

That would be the reason to do it - it's unrealistic to think that it would turn this season around, but it would certainly send a message about what the FO is willing to allow.

It likely won't happen, but barring a stunning turnaround (and I should add that as a fan I would love nothing more), he's gone at the end of the year anyway, or at least he should be. Part of me thinks "Why not? Can him, send the message, and get a head-start on figuring out who to bring in next year."

This game is the hardest to actually pull something out of positive.

We ran two slants to Jennings.....

Rodgers ran the ball and threw it away more.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

This is just a rambling thought. I quote Porky because he mentions not getting rid of Mike McCarthy during the middle of the season.

If we were to get Gruden, why not do it now? 😛

dfosterf (7h) : Put him at right guard. That is where he will be coached. That is where he will compete. He is not even allowed to look at the LT playbook.
dfosterf (23h) : Kidding aside, I hope the best for him.
dfosterf (23h) : Went to a Titans board. One comment there. Not very long. I quote: "LOL" They don't sound overly upset about our aquisition.

dfosterf (18-Apr) : Suit him up and have him stand in front of the big board as a draft day cautionary tale.
