Rodgers did not have an open field as was mentioned. If you review the play, you will see two Ravens to his left. He did the wise thing by sliding.

Love Tirico's playcall on Flacco interception in the endzone:

"Flacco rolls out to his right...buys time...throws across his body. That is awful!"

Can't say enough about Woodson's incredible diving shoestring tackle on the goal line just before that play. Simply incredible and probably saved the Pack seven points.

yeah...while the interception in the endzone looks flashier, the run Woodson stopped was much more of a "sure thing" and boy was that fucking amazing!

On the Rodgers run, I'm only relating what I saw in the rear-angle replay. Obviously, I didn't get to see the game, so I couldn't see the entire field. There was a pretty big hole up the middle, but that doesn't mean Rodgers could have outrun pursuit from the periphery.

Yes, but if you watch the play, he turns into those defenders. I'm saying if he had angled slightly to the left, he would have gained a few extra yards and might even have broken free. Then again, he might have been gang tackled from behind and injured. You just ever know.
