Those jerseys are a skin tight, uniform anomaly for a reason.

They do look a little freaky, I may be wrong, and often am but does that tight stretched out uniform not give an advantage to a player

Nothing to grab a hold of. Nothing to hold on to. I think that would give a player an advantage, no matter what position you play.

I would think the NFL rules committee shall put an end to this uniform anomaly soon.
