Hawk had a worse game than Bush. Just because Hawk has had the better season doesn't mean we give him a free pass for allowing the majority of Heath Miller's 118 receiving yards, plus missed tackles left and right.

There isn't many CB that are going to stay with Miller for that much time.

Absolutely. It was execution and scheme by the entire team and coaching staff as much as anything. Yet Bush gets grilled for giving up deep passes while he was consistently put into 1 on 1 situations for the entire game, with no safety help. I could put that first long TD pass on Bush, but our entire defense looked caught off guard by the play call.

Blame scheme and injuries if you like, but we've all known for years that Jarret Bush couldn't cover a wet spot with a blanket. I wish we had another option there...

Last time I'll ever post this, because some of you are never going to get it.

IT'S A FU------IN TEAM GAME!!! YOU WIN AS A TEAM, YOU LOSE AS A TEAM!!!

Bush did get burnt a couple of times, probably(I'm just guessing)for around 100yds.

Hawk is said to have given up 118 yds.(I don't buy the fact that he was responsible for most, but will use that #)

that's 218 yds......BR had 503yds passing.

503 minus 218, that leaves just short of 300 more yards that were givien up.

I don't hear anybody bitching when CM3, or Chillar, or Woody, or anyone else gets burned on a play.

Every DC in their right mind is going to go after Jarret Bush, because he is the weakest link, he isn't supposed to be playing nickle, but reality is, he is the man right now and all the bitching and moaning isn't going to change that fact!!! Here's a solution, have the genius DC figure how not to have Jarret Bush locked in one on one coverage. Everytime it happens, you better damn well believe the opposing qb is gonns go that way.

Seriously, some of you will never get it, Packer players are going to get beat at times, the other team isn't going to not try to win.

It just amazes me that the only time anybody ever says anything about Bush or Hawk is when they get beat on a play, and I will argue that they get the blame on a lot of plays that wasn't totally their fault, but some here are just looking for a chance to rip on them, because you don't like them, or you don't think they should be playing.

Hell if these guys are so fucking bad, why are they still on the team?

Because for the most part, they play pretty damn good football, it's just nobody will reckognize that fact, all they want to do is nit pick because for some reason, SOMEBODY ALWAYS HAS TO BE BLAMED.

That's bullshit...see my comment about team if you don't understand.

I still say that Sundays loss is going to be more of a plus than negative.
I'd rather have my team playing in tough tightly contested games this time of the year, it will get them better prepared for the playoffs.

This was not a game we had to win, it would have been nice to win it, but we still would have had to win this week to make the playoffs.

Forget about last week it's over, time to get ready for Seattle and hopefully other games will go our way this week and The Packers clinch a playoff spot!!

Hawk wasnt' responsible for half that yardage or half at most from Miller. Remember that last drive, Miller gained how much and that was splitting Barnett and Woodson.

The first play from Bush was just bad. No other explanation, the other deep play against him was with 10 seconds coverage.

The defense got raped, by Pit. All that is to it.

and it looked a lot like the end of games we saw last year. Even during the game we allowed BR way to much time back there. I think Capers has to re-evaluate the three man rush.

In principle with the offense sending four guys out it would seem to make sense to cover those with seven and be o.k. but the problem is you give the QB FOREVER. It is also too easy for the QB to move out of the pocket like Ben did on that last play and just throw a bullseye.

The numbers have to be so high on the number of first downs they give up running this it's rediculous. Even if the offense has 15 to 20 yards to go they often get it. It doesn't work

I don't see why they don't go to a four man rush, put Jenkins out on the end, and keep the other guys in coverage. There's no way that last play gets off like it did Sunday.

There were two plays on that last drive that would have sealed it. Tramon blew yet another pick early in the drive. And Jenkins whiffed on a sack that would have ended it.

We pissed that game away, but with that said I would rather lose bringing a blitz of five or six guys than sit there and let the quarterback have all day to find a guy. This is on Capers all day every day. Quit being a pussy Dom.

beast (21-Apr) : Sometimes looking extremely amazing, sometimes looking extremely lost
beast (21-Apr) : I haven't looked into the QBs, but some have suggested Maye has some of the most extremely inconsistent tape they've seen
beast (21-Apr) : Well it also sounds like Patriots are listening to trade offers, not that seriously considering any, but listening means they aren't locked
Zero2Cool (21-Apr) : Maye needs to be AFC
Mucky Tundra (21-Apr) : Not liking the idea of the Vikings getting Maye
Zero2Cool (21-Apr) : Vikings HC joked that he may or may not have sent flowers to Bob Kraft. That's where rumor came from.
beast (21-Apr) : Can't tell if this is real or BS, but some rumors about a possible Patriots/Vikings trade for #3 overall
dfosterf (21-Apr) : One playbook to my knowledge. I was shooting for facetious.
beast (20-Apr) : I'm not sure they have different playbooks for different OL positions, and Dillard run blocking is supposedly worse than his pass blocking..
dfosterf (19-Apr) : The only problem with that is he isn't a guard either.
dfosterf (19-Apr) : Put him at right guard. That is where he will be coached. That is where he will compete. He is not even allowed to look at the LT playbook.
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Kidding aside, I hope the best for him.
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Went to a Titans board. One comment there. Not very long. I quote: "LOL" They don't sound overly upset about our aquisition.
beast (18-Apr) : OT Dillard has been absolutely horrible... like OG Newman levels
dfosterf (18-Apr) : Suit him up and have him stand in front of the big board as a draft day cautionary tale.
