Both of them came against the lowly Vikings too.

Why wouldn't he sign? It is not big news.

When popular thought is that the restricted FA would hold out of offseason activity.. it makes it worth of note.

But I agree.. not earth shattering news.

By the way.. without signing it, they have to sign a waiver to participate.

I personally think that Nelson is better than Blackmon at KR.

Blackmon's a dancer, he should break the big one more often, but get dropped sooner on some occasions. Problem is, he doesn't break the big one, but does get tackled sooner than Jordy.

Nelson wasn't great at KR, but he wasn't too bad, either. Blackmon is a very good PR. Together, they're a pretty good team. Although there's always room for improvement on the KR team.

3 Punt return TDs in two years is very good, but given the fact that he either broke one or got nothing, I think we should have another option there, someone who consistently gets better field position. Blackmon is a good returner, but he's nowhere near the best in the league. There are plenty of punt returners who have had 3 PR TDs in two years in the last decade. Johnnie Lee Higgins and Reggie Bush both had 3 just in 2008. There are a lot more PRs who have that same feat in the last decade.

I wonder if Will could ever play WR for us. He was a 2 way player at BC.

My whole point is that you can name them on one hand.

Now imagine if we had a top 5 RB, a top 5 QB, 2 top 5 WRs, a top 5 TE, a top 5 DL (sacks), a top 5 blitzing LB (sacks), a top 5 CB (INTs), a top 5 S (INTs or total tackles), a top 5 KR, and a top 5 PR.

See my point?

I'd forego the field position for TDs. TDs win games. Return TDs ruin the other team's morale. I remember like it was yesterday the absolute morale ruin of the Patriots when Desmond Howard returned that TD. Every single person in the bar knew at that moment that the game was over, and the Patriots after that return looked deflated.

I swear, the Patriot fans were a noisy bunch in the bar for the whole game but after that return, you could hear a pin drop at their table. Nothing. Not one sound. They all knew.
