I don't care if Rodgers throws three interceptions, doesn't score a single point and Brett throws six touchdowns. If we win, that's all that matters.

I'm a Packers fan first, not a player fan first.

Agreed, but I'm being logical here.

If Rodgers throws 2 more TDs (or runs them in) and 2 less INTs than Favre in the game, chances are probably over 90% that we win the game.

my affection for Rodgers increased exponentially at ESPNs Sundance party during the conference championships, when Rodgers and his buddies unabashedly rooted against former nemesis Favre and the Vikings down the stretch and celebrated raucously when New Orleans pulled it out. Rodgers couldnt have been more delighted; he did everything but climb on the bar and start a F YOU, FAVRE! chant. I will always root for him after that. And yes, that story is 100 percent true.

The only thought I had with this is why does ESPN have a Sundance party?

People may say this is bad sportsmanship, but didn't Favre call the Lions coach and give them tips on how to play GB when he was with the Jets???

nothing seems more bitter than that. and he was with his buddies, not positng it on twitter or saying it on camera.

Logically, a fan would not care about 'chances' if they can specifically state what their intentions are.

Mine are not for our QB to have better STATS than the opposing QB. Mine are that we WIN the game.

That's all. 🙂

This is all a "who cares?"

The only thing that matters is when we face them in the Playoffs, Rodgers throws more TDs (or runs in, doesn't matter) and less INTs than Favre.

I would.

I was quite happy when Charles Woodson won DPotY and I would be quite happy if Aaron finishes the season with great stats and league MVP.

I take pride in our team winning, but I also take pride in our players getting some amazing individual statistics.

Why on earth are we all complaing about Jerry Kramer and Sterling Sharpe having to make the HoF if no one actually cares about the players, but only about the logo?
