A furious Windhoek woman who wrestled her husbands testicles in a bid to wring them off appeared in the Katutura Magistrate Court on charges of assault with intent to cause bodily harm. Emilie Gomes appeared before Magistrate G.B Von Pletzen Monday this week and was granted N$500 bail with orders to return to the court on 16 September 2010.
She was also barred from making any contact with her husband, Johannes Gomes, until she makes her second court appearance.
Emilie however apologised for hurting her husbands tools saying that it was not her habit but Johannes told the court that Emilie was an abusive wife who also would conspire with their children to cause him harm.
He, however, did not give details as to why Emilie violently sought to get rid of his testicles.
Although he said he was happy with the protection order granted against his wife, Johannes does not know how he would look after his baby.
What do I do now when I want to deliver milk to her (wife) for my young baby. Can I do it through an intermediary? he asked.
