Did anyone else see the Favre interview tonight with Al Michaels and Favre?
Interesting. He says he came back for the camaraderie and the feeling that he owes something to the players. He also said that a major fear for him coming back was that he couldn't do anything more than he did last year.
However, he reiterated near the end of the interview that he probably would NOT have come back to play this year if Jared Allen and crew would not have come down and asked him to play again this year.
After hearing the interview I find myself rooting for him this year. Last year it seemed it was all about sticking it to the Packers, this year it genuinely sounded like it has nothing to do with the Packers or proving anything, only loyalty to his teammates.
Not saying he did the whole unretiring thing with class but his reasons I can respect. I can't believe I'm able to say this again but,
GO FAVRE! (NOT the Vikings)
What do you guys think? |

I think Favre loves football and if I could play in the NFL, I would play until I drop. So I don't fault him or any other player for playing football.
But he definitely has those games against the Pack circled. How could he not? But he also wants that last ring. He cares about his legacy. He wants to go out a Champ. |

Well....too bad he didn't "feel the love" for his teammates when he was still here. He could have played his entire career here. I only believe half of what the guy says.......and the other half i have doubts.
I think he says what he wants to believe at the time he says it. |

This was before the interview, but Seifert from Espn.com had his own take on the psyche of Favre in coming back. http://espn.go.com/blog/...g-favor-from-brett-favre |
