He has had two more procedures done on his knee since last Wednesday. I heard there is a "possibility" he will not play next year, or even the year after if they do have to do a complete replacement. Right now it "seems" as if it is preventative medicine, but it just might be really bad for him. I never liked him, in the football sense, which by my twisted logic means I really liked him, because the guy is an opponent. I hope his infection clears and we see him next year. The game isn't the same without him.
Here is the least biased and/or controversial article I have seen regarding his present status:

Would be a real shame if it significantly jeopardised his career. He's a great player.

Wow. Last time I heard something, the New England Patriots organization was mad at him because he did not use the team physician and instead, went home in Cali and saw the family doctor or something (ESPN Radio 1000).
Maybe this is why they are upset?
Its too bad something like this happened (if true), because as much as I dislike him, he is a great player in the NFL.

Yea, that's what I'm hearing too... it appears they are real pissed about it.

Now I don't hope anything career-threatening for the guy. I've enjoyed this season a lot not having to look at Brady's near-perfect throwing every week. But I don't think I'd want him to miss any more than this year, simply because he was and maybe still is the best QB out there.

I never disliked the guy, other then the fact that he plays for a different team.
I hope he heals up and can play again.
I wonder just how much it might still affect him if he ever does come back.
Maybe this is "karma" for his cheating coach.

WTF??????????????????????
ESPN is reporting a RUMOR? Is this the same site that sent emails to employees to NOT mention ANYTHING about BretT?
http://sports.espn.go.co...fl/news/story?id=3658987Quote:The Patriots, sources told ESPN early Thursday, are upset because they wanted Brady's surgery done under the direction of doctors of their choosing in Boston.
The Patriots later denied that report in a statement: "Today, ESPN cited an unnamed source who supposedly expressed the feelings of the Patriots 'organization.' This unsubstantiated report does not represent the team's views whatsoever. We have supported Tom Brady one hundred percent from day one of this process and will continue to do so."
