None of the above. It wouldn't have been a wasted vote. Obama and Romney -- Those were the wasted votes.

Shawn, how can you have so many songs stuck in your head at the same time? How do you get any thinking done? :P

Taking things in another direction... one of those voices everyone should listen to every few months at least, to remind them that the soul of music lies between the notes....

I promise this will be my last for awhile...well, tonight anyway...

The greatest bassist I ever heard live was Jaco Pastorius. These are from a concert in the same tour, a couple weeks before I saw him in London.

Remark is IMO one of Weather Report's greatest songs, but it's Portrait of Tracy that really shows off Jaco (even if this video seems to cut off before the solo is done. Somewhere there's a Montreux recording of Tracy that goes even farther out there, but that one's an acquired taste.

Enjoy, or not...

Pretty boring music, way too many "cool" people and "cool" lyrics, autotune up the behind... Yet, I can't get that fricken' chorus out of my head.

Oh wow I envy you, Wade. Before I even knew who he was, he was dead. He was a head case for sure but man, can he play.
