And then two versions of one song by someone who should be in everyone's electric top 5, Mark Knopfler....
For those of you who may have only heard the radio/LP version of "Sultans of Swing," these will show *that* riff to be just a hint of the real thing.
The first one probably has the best overall concert dynamic and certainly the best video quality. The second, IMO, is even better at showing Knopfler taking his guitar from the merely great into the zone of zones.
I don't recommend either of these for listening at work, though ....I don't know how you'd hide it from the boss that you weren't working during the long guitar bits (starting about 4:40 on each one and running about 6 mins).

Well, my buddy owns this CD and we listened to the lyrics and were busting up laughing. Her lyrics are sophomoric at best and the political correctness of the title song is downright sad.
But this song I can't help liking. Plus whomever directed this video made her sexy. She's a little bit too top-heavy (yeah, I know some of you like that but not me) so they put her in a dress that keeps them under control. Also, the riding the horse barefoot, that's hot.
Here's Jewel, probably the only pop singer that's a real blonde.

Rockmolder - sorry amigo, but Pastorius had more talent on his left pinky than Flea has total. When I think of overrated musicians, Flea's in my top 5. |

Well, that's one of the couple of guys mentioned on that list, so it's all good. Had to sing that Jewel song in music class. It was somewhat embarassing. Especially since my voice is absolutely awful. Dido's a real blonde, btw, isn't she? She's pretty darn good. It's one of those things you can't really admit, being a man and all, but really, her songs are pretty decent. It's sad how much I look like John Dorian at times. |

Rock - Yes, Dido is a real blonde. I forgot about her. She's a cutie and I like her lyrics.
Foster - The guy she co-wrote "You Were Meant For Me" with is a pretty dang funny comedian.
By the way, I think she's a lot more attractive now that she's in her later 30s than she was in her 20s. I wonder if she had breast reduction surgery.

It's pretty good all the way through. Sarah L is awesome. Warning about Sarah is she's Canadian. You gotta watch out for them Canadians. Read the lyrics to "Pieces of You." They're frighteningly bad. Then you'll see why I said it's P.C. If you heard the song, you'd shudder at how bad it is. |
