A little early to label him a bust?

Yes. It is too early to call him a bust.

He gets one more year before "bust" status.

As of now, he's "heading for bust" status.

You mean a Canton bust? Jeez, zombie, lay off the Ted Thompson Kool-Aid.

Sometimes you take chances, and HOPE they pan out for you. Will Harrel ever make it here? I don't know yet. But he better step it up soon.

I think the man has 2 more years to prove himself. You do remember he was a rookie last year, right?

Thompson likes to trade down, but he doesn't ALWAYS trade down. He must have had a strong feeling about Harrell. It seemed like a curious pick at the time, and it's only gotten more curious during the past year and a half. Hopefully Harrell can turn things around soon. We sure could use him.

Yes, but he was also a first round pick. First rounders are supposed to contribute faster than others.

Look at Hawk for instance. Drafted 5th, started.

This is year #2, and he's likely to miss a good portion of it. So that's why I'm saying "heading for bust status." And no, not Canton. [-X

Aaron Rodgers was a first round pick, and he's had three years of no contributions, yet we're giving him more time.

If Aaron hadn't been playing behind one of the greatest QB's ever, we would not have been this patient. I'm willing to give Harrell a little more time, though.

Justin Harrell didn't have Brett Lorenzo Favre starting in front of him.

The other thing is - positional differences. 1st round DTs should contribute right away. QBs take a little bit of time.

Harrell would of gone to Denver with their 1st round pick. Who GB would of taken is unknown to us. Maybe we get Harrell and maybe we don't. In the end the draft isn't and never will be about one pick. While the Packers missed on that pick, they've made a lot of good ones. I personally don't like the pick but it's done with and hey if that's the biggest problem we have then things will be great.

Smokey (2h) : Hello Cheesey !
GoPack1984 (5h) : I hope not. Please be something like 41-28 Packers.
uffda udfa (5h) : I agree with Chmura. This looks like a double 40 burger.
uffda udfa (5h) : The hug on the sidelines?
uffda udfa (5h) : What seemed so emotional?
Zero2Cool (6h) : No, but I am curious why that seemed so emotional. I might be reading into it too much.
uffda udfa (6h) : Anyone ever get confused looking at Alex Van Pelt thinking it's MM?
uffda udfa (7h) : I hope they aren't going to dial it down believing in destiny .
Zero2Cool (8h) : Jason Wilde: Packers "feel like a team of destiny"
uffda udfa (10h) : They'll need all the Julio Joneses they can get.
Zero2Cool (10h) : Chmura: "I'll tell you this: Atlanta's going to score 40 points. They are. The #Packers are going to have to score 41."
Zero2Cool (15h) : Damn-Falcons coach Dan Quinn tells reporters that WR Julio Jones (foot) will be limited this week but will be “ready to rock” on Sunday.
Zero2Cool (15h) : Packers defense has a red zone INT in each of the last 3 games... Hyde with two of them. (One being the clutch 4thQ INT vs DET in Week 17)
Zero2Cool (17h) : Randall Cobb, Damarious Randall, Quentin Rollins, James Starks, Clay Matthews, Ty Montgomery & Jared Cook. OUT
Zero2Cool (17h) : Packers inactive list when they lost 33-32 to the Falcons week 8.
Zero2Cool (18h) : There is no emphasis, it's just a little bit of info. Take it or leave it. No harm.
Smokey (18h) : Zero, I believe that you and some others place too much emphasis upon data. no harm intended.
Zero2Cool (18h) : It’s the 1st time since 1970 all 4 conference championship teams finished the regular season on winning streaks of 4+ games
TheKanataThrilla (18h) : Salt mine. Love it.
TheKanataThrilla (18h) : The refs kept that game close. We should have blown them out early.
DarkaneRules (18h) : Hyde and Gunter are special and I'm hopeful D Ran gets back to where he can be
mi_keys (19h) : That whole forum is a salt mine. It's beautiful.
Zero2Cool (19h) : Burnett's back up, Kentrell Brice lead team in tackles.
uffda udfa (16-Jan) : Hilarious reading below. I like Carter. Only guy who gets it.

uffda udfa (16-Jan) : Great news.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Jordy has "legitimate hope" to play, per @RobDemovsky.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Packers had one call on defense if called, no issue, wans't called. I didn't watch OL so dunno. I watched WR's
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Dallas OL had some holds weren't called and 2 defensive holds, not called.
uffda udfa (16-Jan) : I think the Pi vs just a holding call is a legit complaint. Terrible call.
GoPack1984 (16-Jan) : Dallas can't complain about the officials. They got away with so many defensive holding calls.
