Hmm.. that posts looks so familiar. \:d/

Read this and thought, what the hell is he talking about?

The links are not easily noticeable, as was said already.

Mind dumping out the icons and the whole theme folder.. so I can preview it.. or attempt to.. did some tinkering last night.. but it errors out without the icons and I am too damn lazy to step through the code and create them all or a version of it right now.. lol.

Forum programmers do have an appalling tendency to make their class and variable names opaque or worse, ambiguous. It gets really frustrating trying to navigate among things named as unhelpfully as x1, x1a, and x2. The worst part is that some of the classes might only be used once on the entire forum, or in an obscure area available only to moderators (or never, depending on the settings of the forum), so hours spent scouring the site after commenting something out may yield no results. Or the results might not be apparent for days or weeks, only emerging after a setting was changed, by which time it is almost impossible to remember what was commented out/edited earlier. To top it all off, the files tend to be wretchedly documented, if they are documented at all, peppered with vague comments that do little to elucidate the code.

I don't know what would be so hard about naming classes and variables explicitly enough that anyone reading the files could figure out what they do without consulting a manual. Yes, it might mean a little more typing, since the variable names would be longer, but as my father likes to point out, most of programming is just cutting and pasting anyway.

Put a few hours into the Site skin tonight. Did the testing on PackersBeta.com (while its still available) and created the Skin package and installed it Live. So far, no errors.

Registration has a blue color that I can't figure out how the hell to change.

I'll work on the Forums skin tomorrow.

While I like the green color (seems real close to the real Packer Green), the light green letters are very hard to read.

And while the mouse-over red is kind of cool, but the un-mouseovered black is next to impossible for the eyes of a geezer like me to find.

There are two skins, one for the site and one for the forums. I didn't touch the forums, yet.

Yes, the black on dark green is hard to see. Maybe it is only happening with certain Internet browsers. I use Safari.

beast (3m) : Did you want Anthony Lynn as HC? Cushion Bradley was going to follow Lynn where ever.
uffda udfa (1h) : Gus Bradley is new DC in SD/LA. I would've loved to had him here in Green Bay.
uffda udfa (5h) : It's just fine.
musccy (5h) : 5 questionable Packers, none for Falcons. Not good.
uffda udfa (5h) : Jordy not listed as OUT or DOUBTFUL. Questionable on injury report.
uffda udfa (6h) : This is the 6th straight game we've faced someone for the 2nd time. We learn.
uffda udfa (6h) : Aaron: I like our role. I like our chances. (said he relishes being an underdog)
uffda udfa (6h) : Aaron alludes to fake crowd noise at Georgia Dome for Sunday.
uffda udfa (7h) : So, to recap. Losing streak "just the way it is", winning streak "astronomical feat". #Balanced
uffda udfa (7h) : Ironically, he called the turn around "astronomical" not just the way it is in the NFL. #Don'tMissTheIrony
uffda udfa (7h) : Ted tells Demovsky the Packers weren't underachieving when 4-6. Just the way it is in the NFL????
Zero2Cool (11h) : Only time I recall getting annoyed is when they beat a single topic over and over and over.
Pack93z (11h) : Most yes... Heller seems to get it more so... diversity in his coverage... but seemingly can highlight the pressing issues properly.
Zero2Cool (11h) : I'm kind of in the boat that they all are babblying boonies.
Pack93z (11h) : God bless it... Bill Michaels can be a stubborn SOB at times... love his Packers coverage, still think he is a buffoon at times.
Zero2Cool (12h) : Jordy Nelson Named PFWA Comeback Player of the Year
Zero2Cool (13h) : Carter is predicitng the end is in ATL for Packers.
Porforis (13h) : Or I could just completely miss the part where that was Cris Carter.
Porforis (13h) : Careful there. Don't you want to predict a Packers loss just in case?
Zero2Cool (14h) : @criscarter80 :Every fairy tale comes to an end, and this is where the magic carpet ride stops in the ATL.
Zero2Cool (14h) : McCarthy: "JC Tretter actually had surgery Tuesday. He won't be available this week"
Zero2Cool (15h) : Crosby is fine now. Full Participant in practice Thursday
Porforis (16h) : What I'm more worried about at this point is WR injuries and Crosby being sick. Who'd be the backup if Crosby can't go?
Zero2Cool (16h) : We do have hope. Our secondary has improved. Also, he had to throw 80% to get 1 point up. That won't happen again.
Zero2Cool (16h) : I like to tease sometimes.
uffda udfa (16h) : Only 80%? :). We lost by one given that stat? Wish we had hope of tightening up.
uffda udfa (16h) : Z, u should tell everyone who Quintorris is. Quintorris Lopez Jones, better known as Julio.
Zero2Cool (16h) : Matt Ryan completed 80% of his passes against Packers in October.
uffda udfa (16h) : McGinn goes full on attack mode dismissing the notion of "Packers people". Harsh.
uffda udfa (16h) : McGinn says John Dorsey likely to be next Packers GM.
Zero2Cool (19h) : Boom! Davante Adams says last year's ankle injury "more difficult to deal with'
uffda udfa (22h) : Packers brass potentially leaving? Not worthy of discussing. Pressure Cooker? Never enough talk about them.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Put Quintorris in a pressure cooker.
uffda udfa (19-Jan) : Back to football: Julio says he's going to play Sunday. Did NOT say he wouldn't be limited in the game.
uffda udfa (19-Jan) : Anyone ever used their dishwasher to make their Thanksgiving turkey?
