Foster,
Our evening of geezer posting seems to have stirred these youngsters up a bit.

None of the above. It wouldn't have been a wasted vote. Obama and Romney -- Those were the wasted votes.

Smiling at the youngster comment.. not sure it fits but I will take it. lol.
I think when there's enough will and aggression, there's no shortage of talent either.

Thanks, Kev.

Wade hit it, I was drinkin'...

Nice of you to "link" 'em.

(still stand by by the music, it was good)

I skip every single vid posted by the kids... I'm sorry, I do. Every single one. When their generation learns how to play, I'll learn how to pay attention.

Geezin'

Embed this one too (notice how I know how to differentiate between to, two and too- it's fucking amazing- I PASSED 4th grade English, it was quite the accomplishment!...if you hold "paper" as a college grad and are still confused, I strongly recommend burning the friggin' diploma )

Bah.

Every generation is convinced that their generation has the monopoly on good music. I could assure you, it isn't so.

There is good and bad music in every generation. My biggest beef with today's kids is they don't know how to have fun. Their music is whiny. "I'm a loser and it's YOUR fault!" And of course, pop music will ALWAYS be complete garbage because the average person lacks taste.

However, the young ones today have put out some pretty dang good stuff. You'll have to dig to find it, but it's there. We had a local bluegrass band led by a 16-year old with his 15 year old brother and 11 year old sister and they were damn good musicians. They of course will never make any money because it's bluegrass and the occasional yuppie will brag about staying true to his blue collar roots and maybe pay homage to it for a weekend, but that's as much money as they'll make before they go off to college and get degrees and live the next 20 years regretting they put money over their hearts.

I gotta give geezer Wade props for taking the time to find out some good music. It's definitely there, amigo. Whatever genre you dig, I can assure you there are young ones who can churn it out and churn it out well.
