Aaron Rodgers OPR 123.3 Rank 1 (Flynn drags the team OPR down so I eliminated him)
Packers DPR 76.8 Rank 7(Tied with the 49ers)
Packers PRD +46.5 Rank 1

Matt Cassel OPR 76.6 Rank 23
Chiefs DPR 83.1 Rank 14
Chiefs PRD -6.5 Rank 21

Packers ranking probably won't change much tonight, but KC might.

We should win easily. Expect Tamba Hali to have a good game though....hopefully he won't hit Rodgers too much.

Their HC was just fired, so hopefully that doesn't make them play inspired...

I don't think there's anything inspiring about getting your HC fired.

Players know with the Head Coach being fired, their job is also on the line, which makes them try harder, thus being a bit more inspired. That said, I don't think it'll be enough for them to win.

I know that a lot of the time when teams fire their coaches and hire an interim coach, they win out a lot of the time.

I think Romeo Crennel has what it takes to get people inspired for his first game.

I don't think it matters, though. This game should be, and I think will, be over by halftime. Rodgers plays one drive in second half after throwing 4-5 TDs in the first half.

42-0.

Fired head coach or not, the Chiefs are too banged up to win against the Packers. They lost a lot of key players to IR or at least a couple of weeks ..... as did the Packers last year. The difference is, the 2010 Packers had depth, the 2011 Chiefs lack it. Easy win +20, and then root for the Niners to win out (i don't think they will, though). The Saints playing the WCGs and have to travel for the divisionals would be much better than having only one home game to get to Lambeau.

toughest game left on the schedule. ;) Last road game until the SB in Indy. Anyone have their tickets yet? It is such a short drive compared to LA or Miami.

Really? IMO the only tough game until the playoffs is the Lions game. They will fight for a playoff-spot and the Packers will be set and done. Chiefs? Never. Bears? The Rodgers magic will force Barber OOB if necessary. Who's Tebow? :D

I don't care about a perfect season, the SB counts, but if a team can avert it, then it's the Lions.

Gilbert after seeing someone in the press write several weeks in a row (probably starting with the Charger's game) that the upcoming game was "the toughest one left on the Packer's schedule" I decided to mock them by saying that every week too. Of course I also said the toughest game on the schedule is their next game.

I did put the ;) in there to let you know I was not serious. I guess I should have posted the [sarcasm] instead. [oops2] [mybad] #-o

Most of the times I get the sarcasm alert, I missed on that one, though ;) But actually you're right, let's focus on week 15 until thinking of week 16.

Hali might be a big pain in the butt... though a good tough test for Newhouse/Sherrod might be good for him... as long as Rodgers doesn't get hurt or beat up. Maybe give the LT some help at times?

One can read all of the scribes/writers takes and thoughts on how coaching changes effect in a positive or negative aspect to the next game. In reality though, the smartest football people do not work for ESPM, CBC, or NBC.

The smartest people as far as how any thing changes are the heads of the Vegas Sports Books. These people are not writing for impact and to get more web and social media hits like individual reporters are who work for a network that is selling views.

The Vegas line after the coach change... Has moved a subtle 0.5 points.

The Packers were favoured by 14. It has now moved to 13.5 in most sports books.

This will not be the week the Packers lose their first game.

Fly into KC early... And do not let the players be visiting the best BBQ in the world. Focus.

45- 17 Packers. No injuries.

Vegas wants half the bets on GB and the other half on KC. the half point move could be a reflection on betters loading up on the points and has nothing to do with which HC is going to take the loss.

uffda udfa (4h) : Now, a guy they really liked and have groomed for 3 years is the guy. Tons of toys on O. Let's see how it runs with a great coach, now.
uffda udfa (4h) : The Flynn Patriots game has been used to say that he is. Seneca and Scott showed otherwise.
uffda udfa (4h) : Hundley is going to settle the debate once and for all in whether Mike McCarthy is a great coach, or not.
uffda udfa (4h) : Doesn't speak well to the talent acquired by the org, does it? Easy to say talent is great until Rodgers is gone and you have to see it wit
Porforis (5h) : Could Sam Bradford come into the Packers and post a winning record from here on out? Are there any non-starters in the NFL that could?
Zero2Cool (5h) : Teddy is replaceable. Aaron is not. Vikings have a really good defense. We do not. Understand??
Zero2Cool (5h) : You are wise enough to know the difference. Right?
uffda udfa (6h) : Here's one for you, Z. Vikes lose Teddy B. and go out and aggressively get Bradford. Packers lose 12 and go out and get a UDFA.
uffda udfa (6h) : :) Evans had a pre-draft visit with Packers.
Zero2Cool (6h) : Put it in a topic. My lord why so difficult lol

uffda udfa (16-Oct) : @ProFootballDoc says Rodgers could return Week 14 at earliest, and surgery speeds up return timeline.
Zero2Cool (16-Oct) : McCarthy dropped a "bullshit" on packers.com stream. No delay apparently lol
Zero2Cool (16-Oct) : @AaronNagler One thing is crystal clear: McCarthy is pissed at the way his team played yesterday.
Smokey (16-Oct) : 2017 Packers are done , time to focus on the 2018 NFL Draft .
Zero2Cool (16-Oct) : Mike McCarthy says Aaron Rodgers "suffered a significant injury". Will require surgery. Potentially season could be over.
Zero2Cool (16-Oct) : McCarthy --Rodgers will have surgery. Potentially season is over.
