My point was that while Favre was still in Green Bay, and I was ranting and railing and cursing and caviling about Favre's fuck-ups and foibles, I felt like a lone voice in the wilderness. Then after Favre committed the apparently unforgivable and went to Minnesota, suddenly the venom spewed forth from his erstwhile fans. That is what has surprised me. If people felt like that about him before he left, they weren't very vocal about it -- or at least I never noticed. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah you have supposed big nads. I'm still pissed at the 4th and 26 game in Philly. That interception in OT was absolutely atrocious. |

Wow did I miss something? The title of this thread is free agents.
What the hell did Ted do?
Contact Brett about coming back and playing?
He must have since we are talking free agents here.
Damn I sure hope those 2 can finally put aside their differences, because without a solid O-line, it's only a matter of time that The Packers are gonna need someone to fill in for Arron Rodgers.
Good job Ted, can't believe you actually did this, but it must be true, since once again Brett Favre talk is dominating this forum.
CAN'T WAIT FOR BRETT TO COME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting a first down on 4th and 26 was even more atrocious. |
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame? |

Over 200 yards on the ground on O, 7 sacks and a couple turnovers on D.
If Favre had done ANYTHING in that game, 4th and 26 wouldn't have mattered. He sucked the whole game and choked up an epic pick.
1 freaking yard and he runs out the clock so McNabb doesn't even touch the ball again.

Completing 15 of 28 for 180 yards with 2 TD's and only 1 INT was not lackluster, it was boobielicious! |

The golden boy of pass rushers left on the market in Wimbley has signed with the Titans.
Didn't fit into the cap plans here anyway... that is without cuts or reworks of contracts. |

While I agree it was pretty disgusting, the defense pretty much held up its end of the bargain that game. As many times as they sacked McNabb, the game shouldn't have even been close. |

Sherman's chickshit call not to go for it with that running game on 4th and a 1. One play didn't lose the game.. it was definitely a collection of calls and errors. Worst part.. Ed Donatell got the brunt of others mistakes. Yes... Mikey and Brett.. some of that falls on your shoulders. Thanks for the trip down memory lane here.. I wonder if Todd "The Toothpick" Pinkston is still available as a free agent. That is just about as random as bring this conversation into the free agent thread.. yes I am guilty as charged as well. ;) |

Even before 4th and 26th happened, NOT going for it on 4th and 1 from their 40 yard line with not one, not two, but THREE RBs who averaged 5.0+ ypc. WTF? I knew when we punted that the Football Gods would be angry with us and we'd lose that game. I knew they'd complete the 4th and 26th for a first down. Once you anger the Football Gods, your season is over. It doesn't matter what you do. Morale of the story - don't be a pussy. It angers the Football Gods. I love Sherman as a human being but that day, I loathed him as a coach. On another note, notice that would rather err on the side of aggression? Some people think that's a bad thing but I say they couldn't be more wrong. |
My man Donald Driver (thanks to Pack93z for the pic) 2010 will be seen as the beginning of the new Packers dynasty. |
